The offer of gold was considered insuffiecent to satisfy the Spanish peoples thirst for Phonecian blood. Prime Minister deLeon has been able to get the Citizen's Assembly to accept a lesser amount. Now it is up to the Phonecians to accept it.

The Ministry of Innovation has announced a breakthough in advanced physical science. Soon we will have Spaniards in space and our cities will be invunerable to attack.

The Phoenician people wants peace - but we are not able to pay the amount demanded as the spanish are still pirating our trade routes.

To be able to save up the amount, the chancellor of exchange Mr. Rasputin (another foreign - looks like something between the devil and a danish minister) - convinced the fieldmarskal to launch a strike against 2 spanish submarines - by this, he hoped the pressure on the phoenician traderoutes would be smaller.

The phoenician attack was only a small succes, as one interceptor was lost during the battle - which was supposed to be easy.

Now they both fear of Hasdrubal.....

Trying to save their lifes, they hope the spanish will accept a smaller offer of gold.

As the Phonecian proposal of peace was being broadcast, the people of Granada were able to watch the Phonecian attack on the Spanish submarines. The boats were clearly in Spanish waters. Word spread quickly. The Ultranationalist are calling for new elections, Prime Minister deLeon's government is on the verge of collapse. One thing is certain, there can never be peace with the Phonecians.

The phoenician military on the south-west coast have had a great party.

The victory - so they called it, though a pilot were killed and two more injured, one close to death.

On a basen in the north, Rasputin and Xenob are held in prison. Hasdrubal wants to "ask" them some questions about who's ruling and who's obeying.

Hasdrubals "song" to the people works.

Workers and other volunteers arraives at the military training camps in a neverending stream.

Factories and mills are working 24 hours a day. Tanks, mobile SAMS, artillery and other military equipment are produced in a still rising haste.

Unfortunately, pollution are increaced too.

On a moutaintop, far away, a young man has almost finished his basic education. I a short time, he will try to get diplomatic - and other kinds - of support to return to his land, the beloved phoenician people. And to face Hasdrubal, the one who killed his father.

Another successfull strike has been made against the spanish submarine fleet.

Phoenicans destroyers forced it up to the surface, interceptors finished the job.

The commander of the destroyers was rewarded with The Order of the Golden Hammer.

Phoenician engineers has started to wipe out all signs of spanish influence - first of all the province capitol, Sevilla, has been renamed with a decent phoenician name.

Message to the commander of the spanish piratship - I'll find you and destroy you - just I had found your fellows. Leave or die!

Phoenician destroyers on a special task spottet a spanish destroyer east of the spanish main island. As they had their orders - the knowledge was passed on to the phoenician airforce. No problem, they answered.

And so it wasn't. One attack and the spanish destroyer was sunk. Only small damages on one of our aircrafts.

Ohh - by the way. Intelligence has informed me about a troopship south off the Hasdrubal Peninsular. Nearly same place, where on of my wodden ships were lost - shot to matches???.

I send my glorious battleship flotille - it found a spanish battleship - not a troopship. A tremendous firestorm lightned up the sky. Only 10 minutes after, the spanish battleship was no more. No spaniard sailor survived, I'm afraid. But we didn't find any from the phoenician SOTL either.


To show my ally, what the situation are - not much unfortunately - I have allowed their reporters a short visit into the heart of the phoenician HQ. They has not been allowed to photograph my military map - but they was allowed to take detailed notes!

Borders ARE changing. Indeed they are. I just wonder, what the spaniards are doing - fighting the egyptians in their lands while they cannot defend their own?

To show the world - my map has been offered to everyone. And that's not a sign of peace! The war has to go on.

Are a Child ruling the spaniards? Or has El Cid been too close to a wild bull?

I don't know - but now also the germans are talking about piracing. And I do indeed know, that it is not my ships - I do not have any there. But I know the spaniards has.

And what about Hamilcar. What do I do to him? Something has to be done - persuade to join? Kill? Keep in exile? No - this has do be decided later. One thing at a time and now the spaniads are most important.

With active defenders in almost all cities, Phoenicia under the temporary rule of General Sophix, feels both safe and secure. Although attacks were not continued this turn. Next turn we promise that Spain will again be awash in blood and sorrow.

General Sophix, denied charges that his plans are unnecessarily ruthless; stating that the kindest war is a quick war. Just as a cut with a sharp knife is kinder than that a slash of a rusty blade, so will be strikes performed on Espanol.
