The game is afoot...

Here's the stats:

A game with 4 teams, each team has 2 players, who have a permenant aliance.
Turns should be sent to each partner. The intended recipient as the first name, and cc to the other.
If the intended player has not played his turn in 12 hours, his partner should play the turn.
If neither of the team has played the turn in 24 hours, the previous player will open the turn, and press "next turn"
No exchange of technology is allowed until ALL teams have met their partner. Even with other civilizations. From this point on, anything goes. All other forms of diplomacy are allowed from the start.
As soon as you meet your partner you must post this fact to the Forum.

Aegnor, the leader of the inca tribes, is displeased. There is no trace of his companion, Keleborn of the mayas. Their steps have taken them to different places as they roam the world searching for ... what?

Realizing the wisdom in this words, Aagnor decided to search for good places to settle. His scouts didn't find much suitable, but Aagnor isn't discouraged. He know that his pure will will force the land to be at service ...

The initial joy the Russians found in their new land has been a little dampened. Their river is not as long as they might have wished, and does tend to get a bit swampy in places. But this has not perterbed the settlers in their wanderings, and many beautiful and fruitfull places have already been uncovered. If we could only be united with our friends the Cubans... Then the world would be a beautiful place indeed...

Swissy looked out over the city which bears his name. The first two provincial centers have been established. Both have found good areas, one with a green stone which craves into bueatiful statues and ornaments. The second has come upon many herds of elephants. The other tribes still look for adequate land to settle.

The Oracle tells us there are seven other peoples on this world. The Oracle also tells of a time when two of these eight shall come together to rule this world. So it is now I order an expedition to search out for this other people, the Oracle calls them the Greeks.

Our first two new cities do well, but the remaining two tribes still search for good land. One has found a large body of water, perhaps this is were they will settle. The other follows the river but finds only harsh lands.
