Swedish troops were about the same calibre as the rest of Europe in 1800. However, the Polish troops of the time were actually superior to most other nations (even major powers). Sweden can hold it's own against anyone though, don't worry.
Excellent work on the 3 Pounder... it looks exactly like I thought it should.
After taking a few glances, your current Guard unit looks almost identical to Smoking Mirror's Napoleonic Rifleman unit. If you could remove one of the stripes on the X (more specifically the one from the right shoulder down to the left side of his body), and modify the uniform a bit (take a look at the Prussian one, for example), then it would look more like a REAL rifleman, since SM's looks more like a Guard unit than a regular infantryman of the time.
Your Swedish infantry appears to be a bit out of date. Those guys appear to be 50 years before the start of my scenario. Of course, as long as you modify the HAT to look like the ones you've been doing, then that should work... that's about the only difference.
One last important thing is the Turkish/African infantry. I only have a Janissary graphic (which I want to keep unique for the actual JANISSARY unit), but no real graphics for that entire group (which is a bad thing), so that unit is fairly important at this point.
One last thing. If you keep your current infantry (Guard) model and save it as something else, and save it for later, it will probably simplify the process of making future infantry units (as I'm sure you already know ), so keeping a bare copy of that around might not be a bad idea.

Thanks for the support.
I changed the map size from giga down to huge. Before when it was giga I had 2 vs 4 movement points, but giga was just too large and unmanageable. So don't worry, the movement VS size problem isn't one any more.
Status: the only timetable is sometime after PtW is out. I need the diplomacy options it includes, along with the 'scenario pack' option to have all the graphics in one spot (this scenario will be so huge in the graphic mods department it'll be necassary to have them bundled... my Civil War scenario didn't have as much external stuff). The culture flip off will also be very useful, along with a couple other things I can't think of at the moment. Basically, you have all the time you need to work with (within reason ).
Here's the immediate priorities for units when you have the time:
- New excellent quality generic musket/rifleman base (same shape as you've been working with, just make it easy to change the uniform around for custom configurations for each country... that will make it so that we (I) don't have to modify Smoking Mirror's unit pixel by pixel)
- Swedish Musketman (to see how the base works when you expand add a full uniform, and also since that's one you want to do ... remember to use the base and keep the hat the same as the rest of the units, not the colonial hat)
- Eastern/African/Turkish Musketman
That should keep you busy for a while. Just post again in here (or talk to me in the chat if we're both around) if you need anything else beyond that. Soon I'll have good, excellent quality uniform images for you, so mainly work on the musketman base and Swedish infantry (since you know what they look like exactly), for a test run.
