PDRI Official Statement.

The Peoples Republic does not accept the Fascist 'Bully Boy' tactics employed by France and her lackies. We might face a conjoint attack by all but we will prevail and the curse of APQS shall be upon you all should we fail.

Irish foreign policy is entirely determined by the agressive tactics of her neighbours. If she is left alone to pursue the path of peaceful development then none need fear Ireland but once roused she is a formidable beast!

The advice we would offer to the Mayans is that they should remember just what can happen when ambition over-stretches resourses. We also would question whether the Russians really wish to be nought but 'puppy dogs' destined to be abandoned when victory is to be determined?

I praise the loyalty and fealty of Chairman's Bird and Frazer for their unstinting support of the cause of the Proletariat in the battle against the Capitalist and Fascist scum!

Have you all learned nothing from the disastrous APQS game where everyone lost?? Why do most of you insist on Communism with it's 1.75 production factor but TRIPLE POLLUTION generating ability (compared to Fascism @1.5 production and Democracy @ 1.25 production). Is communistic high production, with pollution belching smoke stacks from factories, the only thing that matters anymore??

I know, I know... none of my business, (other than the ratings recording duties), but I'd hate to see this game end the same way APQS did with a whole lot of DEAD TILES!!

Turn 149 to Klair

FRONTLINE NEWS.

English interceptors has successfull cleaned the shores and all SFU cities north of the canal on the SFU homeland for all enemy troops. Only minor losses have been suffered.

In the east, our tankbataljon attacked and destroyed a fortified taskforce of french marines and a settler. The french troops had apperantly lost contact and were an easy victim.

A minor flood has occoured. The water raised very quickly but no english cities or english soldiers has suffered any damage.

English production has raised to enormous hights and we are producing soldiers and equipment at a high speed.


Death to the capitalistic North. Soon our glorious troops will march against their capitols.

Long live the free people of PDRI, PDRE and our beloved neighbours and brothers in arms, the vikings!

Of course is pollution (anyway the flooding) no problem when you settle the right type of land (near plain, forrest and mountains). I got lots of new rivers giving a much higher production capacity.

Sad news: A russian stealth bomber found something it shouldn't. A small english tactical manouvre has been called of due to this. The russian unit has payed its discovery with its existence.

Russia has finally decided to flex its military might. Russian news reported that the offensive had finally begun at 7:00am today morning. Operation Duck hunt and Operation Dragon Fire were both executed in a combined attack.

The biggest Military operation in the history of this planet was executed by the Russian Army. An immense invasion force unleashed its fury against the English and Viking military. Though resistance was stronger than expected and the presence of a Viking Marine Division in the region did slow progress down, the display of superior fire power and discipline by the Russian army ensured success after success. Like dominoes the enemy cities fell one after the other. Extreme care was shown to the civlian population and all forms of aid was poured into the cities to feed, clothe, and treat the impoverished people.

This is only the beginning! 5 enemy cities have fallen to us in the first
day of our offensive, an entire Viking army has been obliterated. Next turn
there will be more of the same...

Though all the Capitalist 'Pig Dogs' may assail us at once using weopons of mass destruction, whilst speaking empty words about environmental concern, we continue our fight to liberate the oppressed masses from their slavery.

The russians armor are stronger than ours but their troops are not trained well enough - a combined counterattack from the viking and english forces have reduced the russian conquests.

Finally I can reveal to the world, that the viking nation has been allowed to take control over 4 english cities, there has been no acts of war between our nations except for a great misunderstanding at an earlier stage.

We have made this agreement to sucure, that none of our nations would be totally overrunned by a massive invasion from the SFU.

Further the russians foolish invasion included at gift to the people. The Peoples Democratic Republics have now the knowledge of Smart materiel. We surely knows how to use this as the facistic and capitalistic regimes soon shall feel.

The English-Viking joint offensive did some damage to the 3rd Armored Division and delayed certain operations by a turn until reinforcements can arrive. However for now all English and Viking units sent for the counter offensive were destroyed . All three cities that were lost to the Vikings and English were regained. The strategic city of Hladir was liberated to demonstrate to the English the futility of their actions. The total number of enemy cities under our control is now 6.

Unfortunately we were forced to carry out a nuclear strike against the English so as to minimize our casualties. However we must point out that although we try our level best to keep the use of nuclear weapons to a minimum, we will not hesitate to use them again if the English continue to attack Russian troops.

As far as the training of the Russian military goes. It is second to none. Their preparedness for war is the result of my lack of vision. I had thought that I would be able to avert war and to keep everyone from beginning a world war. Sadly, I was proven wrong, for right now we fight a world war like none other. And Russia was the last one to begin preparing for it. But no matter, Russia's military readiness will reach its zenith in the next few turns.

To more peaceful matters. We have always prided ourselves for not shying away from setting an example of our selves. We are extremely concerned by the amount of pollution being released by all nations. We have thus introduced massive reforms to cut the pollution of our nation to levels that will no longer endanger the ecosystem. We are already one of the lowest polluters at the moment, with these new reforms our pollution levels should fall even more. We encourage all other nations to follow our example and avert a world wide natural disaster.

The english voluntary forces has liberated another irish city.

As the russians, we had always wanted to keep our nation free from the atomic disaster - but the use of brutal russian nuke-force against an undefended viking city, protected by thier english brothers - has left us no alternative to use nukes against a major russian city. And more are to follow!

Our irish brothers have released us from our duty as allies - to act and protect each others. We, the english has turned down the offer. We stand side by side to the end with the PDRI and our viking brothers!
