I was going to start a book on how long deity would delay the next session.

Until Wednesday 100 to 1........

Thursday 50 to 1..............

Friday 25 to 1.........

and so on

Until makeo leaves remains at 6 to 4 but I might have to tighten that

Like I said in the other thread I wanted to be attacked to maintain my SPOTLESS rep. The SS forced you guys to attack but the cooperative nature of your attack meant that I will now struggle to win this one.

The trouble is my SS was so successful I wasn't flexible enough to switch to a defensive strat because all my planning was for war.

But what do I care? The only reason you could build an SS in the first place was all those techs you stole off me - at least 15 techs probably more than 20.

sounding a bit more serious now Horsie

... YOU wasted time going after me when you should have gone after Makeo

And I got just as many techs off Makeo as I did you and it wasn't 20

Besides I was doing a deal wth you to give you some techs I got off Makeo so that you could build a fast ship and beat Makeo; leaving Makeo to go after my cap. You'd have been in the clear - he had a fair chance of getting my cap even without your help..

Bet Makeo didn't know that

Serious? Nah - this is just a game - one of many - the sooner you realise that the more you will enjoy your gaming.

You were hopelessly behind in techs - 15 was conservative.

I can only speak for myself but if makeo wins I think he is a worthy winner. It was really between him and me. We didn't nick any techs off anyone.

You were always going to get creamed because of your poor diplomacy in the game. If it wasn't me it would have been makeo. You basically made the world hate you.

Just my opinion

Horsie, what you got to realise is that Makeo was also behind you in techs. He or I could have at any stage wound up our tech rate to one tech per turn. He did this; I chose to steal techs and keep building units/infrastructure etc.

The great thing about this group is that despite differences the game continued, no one quit, and everyone stayed to the final deathblow - which is in about 5 turns...

After a long turn last night (and thanks for patience) I may have given myself a good chance here. I took out several of finbars cities on the coast opposite the Aztec capital - SDI in tact
Makeo's response was brutal and destroyed my supply lines but I can restore them. It is my turn and I have a transport in Orangutan...
