90% of Israeli law is based on brittish law.


The rest 1% on Ottoman law and 9% Israeli / Jewish laws.

I can name you several which define Israel as a state with Jewish characteristic. That doesn't mean anything.

About white meat - as long as you don't flaunt it to the face of religious people = no biggie.

The reason for it is NOT that Israel is theocratic, but rather that it has a large theocratic lobby.

If the refugees came there and everyone refused to take them, well what would happen? I don't even have to speculate.... illegal immigrants in the US were chased, deported, deteined, harassed etc for years in the US. Jordan, or Taiwan, or uruguay don't have to do anything about the refugees. They could do something, out of the goodness of their hearts. But they don't have to.

The only nation that has to is Israel.

What one has to understand about why religious laws are becoming worse in ISrael - is that the religious parties, a 10-20% block in the knesset, are becoming the regularal coalition partner, and thus are power brokers.

That's why i;m going to vote for Shinui. To have an alternative.
