Dont actually remember but i bet it is. It is that RTS game you control little agents in missions in furistic cities. And you have weapos like laser and persuater (mind control). A really cool game

Btw, as I said in the other thread, should we have a "all-time-best-game" list, where the 10 (or 20) best games, for each year will be counted together. Meaning: The best game for this year get X points, the second best get Y points, etc. The next years poll will end the same way (giving points for the best games).
If a game then has been on the list two years in a row, that game gets two points (one for each year).

The ending scores for the "normal" poll, will not be calculated for the "all-time-best-games" poll...

I hope you understand what I'm talking about, otherwise I'll try to make it more clear later (I'm at school now)

About periodic top games polls I'd like to make something evident...

Making a YEARLY top game poll, only makes sense imho if you allow in the poll only the game released THAT year (or the previous too, at most).
Hey, many players here vote Civ2 or SMAC. Those gmaes are out since 4 years (the latter) and maybe a decade or more the former, can't recall.
Do you think that next year the preferences would be different?
I think they would only if:
1. a NEWLY released game gets in the palyer's list
2. the voter *changes his mind* about the preferences he expressed, *not because* any new games

I would say tho, that the votes an elector expressed NOW should be KEPT, and remain valid "unless & until" that same player wants to recast them.
I for instance, seeing as how I very rarely buy new games, and being a bit jaded at my age rarely think new games are better than old ones (graphics and useless fluff apart...), could likely keep the above votes for the next 5 years...
I wouldn't want to beforced to re-cast them every year, if I don't want to change them.....

So, in conclusion, imho:
making a yearly ranking, and "building" an all-time ranking based on the yearly one's top-10 *positions*, as I said, only makes sense if the yearly rankings are made with the yearly games...

I would see more meaning in a single "carry-on" ranking.

What do you mean here? Are you talking about Lemmings 2 The Tribes? (The one with many different "types" of lemmings, with only graphics in difference, and many types of levels, from space to sport?)

I mean that having played it in the end of the '80s, I can't recall which version I had played.
I remember the many different types of lemmings, but I don't remember "The Tribes" subtitle, nor the "sport" background, only caves mainly, and some "could" have been spacelike...

EDIT: no actually, having checked for covers and screenshots on mobygames site, I realise I have been playing the original version (released in 1991, I thought it older, or me younger...).

How many times do you want ctp2? You can't have it both on 5 and 10... I've set it to place 10 for now, so your 5 is emtpy...

Oh, and tot, isn't that Test of Time? Which means it's Civ2, which means you can't have two of the same game (AGAIN), space 2 is empty...

People's General: WWII is a mod with converted Panzer General 2 equipment, vehicles, maps, scenarios and campaigns for them to be used with the People's General engine which features a better AI and different game mechanics.

Of course you can consider PG: WWII and PG as the same game though I would not. If you do so here is my new list :

That's right. Addons, expansion packs (Isn't that the same?) and mods doesn't count

Especially mods, I'd say, since if you CAN mod a game, then it's the game, that should have points for making it possible to make a good mod, it's not the mod that's the game, a mod can only change the game (like addons can)

Btw, for those who haven't voted please write the whole name of the game, instead of just writing short name, like moo or homm... it takes me a lot of time, before I finally finds out, what game it is, since I have to read the whole list through, to find a game, wich have the same initials... (Only SMAC, Civ#, ctp# is acceptable, since most people around THIS forum knows what those games are... )
