Set Location to Local.

Click on Host
Under Game Type, select Play By EMail
Under Game Mode, select Load Game
Load the current save
Click on Launch

Do your turn
Click on the End Turn Oval
Save the Game

Ok, it works now. I never knew this "Local" mode, because that Gamespy rubbish slows the game in a way, that it needs a full minute to switch from Internet to Local and I just never waited that long.

Yeah. Gamespy has some issues from time to time. However, it is more my fault for forgetting that bit. I mean, I have a little experience with what happens when you select Host when set to Internet. So, my fault, my apologies.

I know, i hate gamespy, i could put something like "Hating Gamespy Since 1999" to my Signature. Gamespy was ok in the early times but that all changed in bad way when they started making money with it.

Thats why i prefer "all-seeing eye" software for searching multiplayer servers of the games i like to play.

Yeah Gamespy sucks, unfortunately. Used to be pretty good back in the day a year or two ago, but now it's just....a nightmare.

But will it be good to give more screenshots, they kind of spoil the fun if other players know all the time what are others doing

Havent had the time to DL & test it yet, but i'll try it in the evening and tell here if it was ok for me.

The object of this game is IIRC to learn and share this info with the others.
Afterall, we are all newbeeZ as far as MP is concerned.

Except the preZ maybe, but by the time he has setled, most of you will probably allready be residing on alpha centauri

I'd say that this in-team PBEM game is more of a study in human intelligence, so that our team can have a more mutual amount of experience playing MP. My goal in our PBEM game is not necessarily to win, but to try certain strategies and tactice (the few I know j/k). I'm just trying to figure out the mechanics of how our main game may go.
