*Don Plaguátes wakes up in a corner*

"I am born again. I will no longer be a Don. I am just Giovanni the saved! I feel so refreshed and new... Can it be the wine or can it be the holiness? I want to become a saint and go out preaching to the heathens and help them forgiving their brothers and those who are slaying them... and drink them to his holiness... "

*Giovanni grabs a young lad, who is sitting half asleep *

"You can be my follower and guide me to the heathens!
I will reward you, but not as much as God will reward you. Come... let's go out and save the pueblos "

*They leave Madrid the same day...
His younger brother Carlos "El Torro" is taking the Don title in the Plaguátes family. *

OOC:
Deceased Sanchez got a brother too. Shall we call him Anigo Motoya? Could be fun...

If you do a great job in preaching and converting, I might declare you a saint when I am Pope.

It would be nice If we could start converting people in the main PTW forum to christianity and have the vatican there too, but such needs apporvan from the king.

Cardinal Cian, once a Pope is put in power, I shall suggest, as Bishop of Castile, that I may be allowed to send my nephew, Fr. Iago Calamari, to missionize to the people of the World Forum.

Sure, chap.

Well...actually...I'm a bit peckish. I think I'll have a snack.

Let's see...

The Squid and Steak Platter to start out with, of course...

To start with...give us some beetroot or squash. Mix us some wine (with water). Add some fish sauce to the squash. Bring us radishes - a knife - as well as lettuce and cucumber. We'll have a trotter, blood sausage, and a sow's womb. We'll all have white bread. We'll have the pork shoulder and ham and some mustard, and squid.

Isn't the squid fried yet?

Take round some water to rinse peoples' hands. Bring us yogurt, if you have any, with honey, and some honey pastry.

Anything else?

Oh yes. Some Buffalo Calamari to get us started.

Cardinal, hope your sons don´t eat as much as you
Joking,
here it goes.
Might I sugest for dessert a good cup of Almonds delight?
A new plate ; It is made of almonds covered with molten sugar, some milk and an apple, all cut apiece and mixed; tastes very well.

Well, there are the Slave dancers, but it´s their lunch time now...
Lemme call a new lunch for Señor BigFree,as Señor Calamari has already eaten the whole lunch...
Ah, yes, of course, we have this new dessert, almonds delight. We don´t have any others yet, besides fruits. We are begining to go after desserts now, as this Monarchic age brings the need to make more refined dishes for the nobles.

As for the lunch, Senor BigFree, try some of my fried Buffalo Calamari. You'll love the spicy sauce! And here's some wine...

As for dessert, please try one of my canolis.

Anyway, I'm re-opening Iberian Delights. There may not be an Iberia anymore, but something needs to be done to boost the morale of the citizens other than religion. Nothing boosts my morale more than squid.

Got spare money?

Shame, yes... It is shameful that the government has no idea as to what it shall do... Shameful that Bob is no longer ours... Shameful that the Pope is more powerful than the king, for the line of Togan kings has ended... Shameful that the squid here are so small compared to Bobian squid... Shameful that the wine here is so weak compared to Bobian wine...

* MrWhereItsAt lands on the Spanish shore in a leaky boat and gratefully pulls himself out, just as the boat finally sinks to the sand against the foamed shore

At last! I think I finally put the hellhound behind me for good.

* MrWhereItsAt observes the chilly, windswept land before him.

So this is our new home.

* MrWhereItsAt shivers and draws his cloak closer to him

Depressing... and so cold. There's only one thing for it.

* MrWhereItsAt heads to the pub, in search of Spaniards who had survived their loss, in search of a soul to share with, perhaps an old soldier with nothing but his stories to show for losing it all, and maybe, just maybe, a sense of belonging and responsibility to warm himself with against that chill, bitter Stormian wind.

* MrWhereItsAt nods hello, but eyes civman warily, recognising in him the old friend with which he formed the AAAC and the 3A2C3 in times long past, but also put on his guard by the speaking in tongues...

Allow me for a moment, History Guy..

* MrWhereItsAt picks up and carefully examines the head.

Nay, this is a cheap knock-off manufactured by Lux slaves to allow the Gormless Old Warts to cash in on the surge in interest in capturing the heads of fiends related to the beast that plagues me, during the war. I have seen many in my time. That jackal is still out there somewhere.

* MrWhereItsAt shivers

I can hear him baying my name....
