Due to SIM refusing to comply with Japan’s requests and the danger they represent to Japanese interests, Japan has declared war on SIM. Army is not attempting to advance on mainland, they have fortified are holding defensive positions. Air force is attacking SIM island installations with the support of the navy in preparation for landings. Japanese marines have invaded several SIM minor islands, and navy is continuing southward. No major battles or resistance yet, but Japanese forces aren’t presently very far into SIM territory. Main military objectives are to have air and sea superiority and carefully advance onto islands while maintaining position on mainland. Time can be sacrificed to maintain defensive integrity. Large amount of effort also has been put into preparations to defend against any SIM terrorist attacks. Industry has been geared up to maintain air force and navy at very large and bring it back up to force when losses are suffered, as well as bringing army strength up to very large eventually.

The Free World Navy, with 4 carrier groups have sailed with in 100 miles of SIM main land, close enough to launch airstirkes into SIM. Also anther 4 carrier groups are on there way to the same area.

Half of the Free World Army has started to Advance towards SIM controlled China through the lands Caliphate. And the airforce has begun air patrols over free world air space to look and shot down any gas planes of the SIM airforce. OOC: Caliphate wasn't able to retake every lost territory because of destroyed bridges on Amu Darya, only the klost area west of Amu Darya could be taken.

Jdd, you can take Scandinavia, Germany or France

As Caliphate invades India, SIM continues to advance using nervous gas and without much of resistance comes to the east coast of Amu Darya. Here defensive positions are set so that Caliphate army wouldn't be able to cross the river and SIM army stops advancing.

In India, however, vice versa happened - SIM lost much land to the Caliphate, including some of it's former territorial gains. SIM used gas here also, but most of gas planes were busy in northern front so gas did not much damage here.

SIM morale (as is Arabic) is hard to break because both countries are muslim and thus strong faith helps to the morale much.

In Indonesia, huge protests against the war started, especially after NATC invaded New Guinea, which is quite near Indonesia itself. One attempt to assasinate Sahid Abdul-Muhamad happened, however he survived. Indonesian Rebels asks the world for help to overthrow Jemmah Islamiyah.

After the invasion to the southern part of Papua New Guinea, the other part of this country overthrew SIM government and declared independence. They asked NATC to move forces in to help defend the independence, but they said they doesn't wants to actually join NATC currently, probably they will talk about that after the war.

As most of Caliphatian troops moved to front, certain people in Morroco also said they wants independence - however it is up to Caliphate government to let them out or mobilise troops to Morroco.

SIM to Japan:
We are not going to attack you, you may hold defensive positions but we don't want to fight against our former ally.

SIM to NATC, Caliphate:
OK, we listen AS and would probably like to make peace with you... Here is the plan we suggest:
1.SIM, Caliphate and NATC stops all military actions
2.Arabic-conquered territory in India and Pakistan is exchanged to the same size of conquered territory in former Panturkistan.
3.We allow Papua New Guinea to go independent as a sign of our goodwill. They will then choose in referendum werether to join NATC or not to.

If you want to do some negotiations before signing this deal, please do that but please stop all military actions (and we will also stop all terrorism and military actions); war leads to nowhere.

Nobody actually understood why Sahid Abdul-Muhamad said that, but most likely it is because of huge number of rebels in Indonesia, which, if not treated, could overthrow the government easily.
However, SIM really stopped terrorism - no terror acts happened in past days.

To SIM:
The Free World Confederation has declared war on SIM.

To Caliphate:
We have now entered the war on our side. We have issued gas masks and suits to all men in our army and have given them mecince designed to help them live through a gass attack. Our airforce has sent jet fighter to patroll our airspace to shoot down the gas planes. We will start to help the Caliphate army to take back China. We also have corp of enigerers in the area, which are experts at rebuilding bridges even when under fire. They have started to rebuild the bridges over the rivers the army needs to pass.

The Joint Free World and Caliphate armies have started a counter offensive into SIM held India. Free World Paratroopers have landed just on the other side of the river that has prevented the army from advancing. The Corp of Enigeries have started to rebuild the bridge and the armies are waiting to cross, which will be possible in about 2 days time. Also Free World Airforce has managed to shoot down a gass plane ajust before it was going to wipe out a small town. This has given a great bost in morale to the Free World troops.

NATC troops move to occupy the rest of New Guinea. The NATC has given economic, diplomatic, and a little bit of miltary support to Indonesian rebels. It also urges them to use (relatively) peaceful means to achieve their goals.

Okay how do you like this SONIC. The Caliph has launched nuclear warheads at the SIM strongholds. All 15 waeapons were launched. 2 high bursts destroyed all electronics in the SIM territory. Jakarta has been destryed along with most of the SIM leadership. Other places hit are

Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Sumatra, Kuala Lumpar, Singapore.

All SIM armies are in full retreat and the Caliphiate has started their advance. In the West the Caliph has declared jihad on Morrocco, and has destroyed this nation annexing it. The Morrocan government has been captured and executed.

In other SIM cities Caliphiate terror cells, have started a mass disruptioon proigram against the evil scum. The SIM populace hides in fear as a bomb blows every ten minutes somewhere in the SIM.

The Caliphiate Army has also landed on Java capturing the remains of the cpaital city, and occupying ths island. In Asia the SIM army largely devestated by the nuclear response has started mass evacuations. They retain only the Malay Peninusla and the tip of the Indian Sub Continent. SIM air forces and naval forces have been totally destryed with the few planes and ships remaining fleeing towards Antartica.

Caliphiate Air Strikes have taken out all missile silos in the SIM nation. And the fact that the SIM nation is without power or electronic have crippled the industry leaving the army largely unsupplied.

In Sumatra and Kalimantan (Indonesia) The SIM heirachy is being obliterated by scud missile attacks. A strain of Bubonic plague and smallpox has been introduced into the system.

I don't know how much of Sheep's post is going to be accepted, but you have to admit that things should be going against the SIM. Even assuming SIM had astounding luck at the opening of the campaign, they are now being fought by four nations. I thought it was stipulated that nukes couldn't be used, but nonetheless Arab Caliphate would be winning anyway now. That's my two cents.

japanese high command had gotten all manor of conflicting information and reports of what was happening on the mainland, and none of them could be verified. until intel could tell for certain what the situation was, policy remained to continue carefully south, taking islands from SIM. Japan also decided to land small marine parties along the former-chinese coast to determine what was happening as well as send out scouts from Manchuria. If all was favorable and no unstoppable opposition was met, units were to proceed down the mainland, with naval and air support covering.

OOC: to Sheep: I also taken a part of my own nation (papua New Guinea) which also declared independence, I also posted that I've lost in many places, etc. From your last post, the nuke things aren't recognised because at the first post it is written that certain invention made nukes impossible to use in 2010. I do recognise however your invasion to Morroco... As for mods playing, I don't like that much also, I've didn't planned to play myself but later chosen a country when at the start this NES was developing quite slowly.

In-game now
SIM lost more lands on India and Free World captured certain lands beyong Amu Darya. This lead to even more protests. One day at the morning, leader of Jemmah Islamiyah Sahid Abdul-Muhamad was shot with weaponry rebels got from NATC. After that the state collapsed. Jemmah Islamiyah itself broken into several parts and isn't able to support the government anymore. Troops of Mojaheeden Islamiyah also aren't united anymore. Under such circumstances, former occupied countries started to overthrow the SIM government. First it was China, later very quickly after that Vietnam and Kazakhstan, later Cambodia (Khmer Rouge Empire), which also taken Laos from SIM control. Later Nepal declared independence and invaded and taken Tibet from still weak China. After that, Inner Mongolia, formerly part of China, also went independent as "Free Mongolia". Thailand, Burma, Philipinos and Sri Lanka also declared independence next day, leaving only Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, East Timor and Bangladesh for SIM. After loosing 80% of lands in mere 4 days, Islamist SIM government was completely overthrown. The former NATC-supported rebel organization, "National Development Front" currently reigns SIM. It immidietly removed all troops from still controlled territories near the front thus throwing these territories into complete anarchy...

The NATC only recognizes the Democratic states (Indonesia, Kazakhstan, and any of the minor nations). $10 billion in aid is sent to Indonesia, and troops are sent to be used at Indonesia's discretion to fight Jemmah Islamyah.

The following territories have been occupied by Caliphiate troops and reannexed to the Islamic Brotherhood. This has been done by blitzkrieg against the small armies assembled.

In India we have a peacemaker campaing, they can be independent, join with the part that now is in Free World or enter in your associaton (indian people in an arabic state?). We are not in the "Anarchy" area of the turkish states. In this area the war is so small and we think that is your teritory (because they are islamics).

In Laos-Cambodia (or Angkor) the process is the same. We don't want these rouge khmers killing whatever what they want and destroying the treasures ofthe zone (and everybody in the countries and neighbours applaused our action).

AS noone has objected the Caliphiate declares that all territories in China and former Panturkistan to be Caliphaiet except for Southern India to go to Free World and Mongolia to go to Russia.

In Space missiles shot shot out all spy satelites over the Caliphiate from the AS. Being tracked for sometime the AS Satelite Program over the Arabic Caliphiate has been destryed.

Caliphate occupies Kazakhstan, anarchy and western parts of China and Mongolia, the government and eastern parts are still quite strong but would not be able to withstand another Arabic invasion.

After seeing Caliphate's advances, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Burman Empire and Philipines unites to form a new country - ASEAN (OOC: I could suggest this country for jdd), with the following stats:

ASEAN immidietly annexes parts in Southern China - China is very weak after war against Caliphate.

Kazakhstan (government in exile to Indonesia) asked the world for help liberate the country. They asked mostly Russia and NATC. NATC, because they recognised Kazakhstani independence and Russia because about 50% of people in Kazakhstan are Russian.

The remaining part of Mongolia says they joins Japan. Now it is up to Japan to take it or not.

Jemmah Islamiyah is still quite strong in Indonesia. They organises a terror act in Jakarta, in which three members of new democratic Indonesian parliament are killed. Indonesia asks more funds to treat everything. But Jemmah Islamiyah also shows they still hev terrorists all over the world and three terror acts happens:
In Mecca sleeping gas were launched in the major mosque and several terrorists attempted to steal the sacred stone. However, Arabic police quite easily crushed them.
In Washington a truck with explosives rams FBI headquarters, killing 20 people, mostly bystanders.
In Rio De Janeiro lethal nerve gas were launched in hospital, killing 50 people.
