I take it not a fan of Collins.

Personally I think him above average but neither great nor poor.

No, walrus is right, Tark played for the G-men a few years in the 70s, at the end of his career.

Where do you think we got Kramer? Bounced between 1st and 3rd string in Detroit.

But a starter in Chicago.

That's two more than the Bears .

At least the Lions had Bobby Layne and now have Joey Harrington.

Of course none of your lists compare to the disaster that has been the NY Jets QB situation . From Namath to Pennington the best QBs have been Todd and Testaverde :shudder:.

What the heck can I say. I'm happier than a pig in sh1t right now.

When McNabb comes back its looking mighty bright for my Eagles. I'm thinkin that'll be a nice Christamas present for the boys in green.

I never like Fiedler(sp) for the Dolphins altho Lucas is a bum. But they have Ricky (who I have to admit I was one of the faithful pulling to get him in Philly instead of McNabb. LOL....) mmm.....so I got that goin for me.

And since I've moved to Atlanta my Third favorite team has the most exciting player in the league in Vick.

Whats not to be happy about.

To all you other losers out there. Suckers...... LOL

Just ONCE... I would love to see a real QB lead the Bears out onto the Field. McMahon has been the best we can do in the modern era... sigh... Kramer wasn't the answer... and while I will give credit to Miller for at least getting people excited to play for him, he still is average at best... sigh...

I kind of liked Miller. I think he could have done more with a better play book, better coaches, and maybe a decent tight end. Oh and a consistant running game.

With last years offensive line... and a running game, he proved to be above average. He didn't get sacked to often, and he could move the ball... However, he wasn't really a deep threat... and the Bears need that to make the offense click. I like his guts, and the fact that the team plays their heart out for him... but he just isn't that good. sigh...

but I felt he was a deep threat. His arm may have not been the greatest. But I remember a few long pass plays to their rookie Wide Reciever (last year) whos name I cannot remember right now.

I remember that because I had Chicago's rookie wide reciever on my fantasy team. I think I had Jim Miller too.

It's the offensive coordinators fault for not calling more long passing plays or creating them.

Put an end to popups!

He really can't throw too deep. And with his bad shoulder this year, nothing farther than 20 yards is really feasible. And the other team KNOWS it. sigh...

Maybe next year our injured players will come back and we will be competitive agian... but it is just embarassing to watch this year... in every game for awhile... then toast

well this year I'm suprised he can still play. What he did against Detroit was amazing though considering his injuries.

Maybe Chicago should think about drafting a QB for once . Keep Chandler to show the rookie the ropes.

Tired of ads?

Getting rid of Chandler is key... he's in retirement mode at best... screw him. We need to pick up a Free agent QB, and some young stud to sit on the bench and learn for the future. Miller would be a perfect BACK UP...

But Chicago has NEVER been known for Quality QB's... sigh...

There are no good free agents if you ask me. There is a QB shortage right now. And its bound to get worse.

Perhaps they can pickup someone like Marc Bulger or Kurt Warner (just a hunch ), but I can't see either one doing well in Chicago.

Their best bet is a rookie. But the problem is they also need a running back for the future. I don't think they have that yet. A-train isn't it imho. They need someone like Ladanian Tomlinson. That guy is amazing.

Until then expect chicago to suck

I disagree... with a healthy offensive line, either would do VERY well in Chicago. I would take EITHER in a second. Since Bulger is the free agent... We can offer him a starting role... something that may not be available in St. Louis. It would be nice for a change.

well they would have to do better than what they have already. And a beefed up Offensive line would help a lot. Maybe they could get a consistant running game. But it would still be nice to have someone like Tomlinson. I was so impressed with what he did against Denver. But they can't really afford both a RB and a QB. So an investment into a good offensive line is more feasible.
