Yes. This way is something went wrong with the email the other player knows that and asks for a resend.

I, on the other hand, would never stoop to anything so routine as saying sent when I've sent. So, instead, after I've sent, I insert a serious question:

Has anyone seen a barbarian roaming anywhere in this game. I wonder if we really have roaming barbs.

Thanks for any input on this. I'm getting ready to do an Aeson scounting mission if there are no barbs.

Whenever I get the turn I'll send it

I won't be able to play during christmas day PST, but I will check my e-mail christmas night.

And of course new years eve I will be OOC . New Years Day I'm good.

and barbs always seem rare in my game in the beginning. It's only after you have more cities and you have spots that are unsettled you have barbs. So I've seen in my games. But I really haven't uncovered enough of the map to say for sure. I'm not expansionist.

We haven't played enough, to see if there's any barbarians in the game...

I'll play about the same during the hollydays... I would have more time, but we can't expect everybody to have more time, to do their turns, but I'll play my turn, whenever I get the save-game, or at least when I see it, and I'll be checking email almost constantly...

I'm able to play my turns even more often from 18.12 to 31.12 since i have no work during that period

If you wish, you can use a handy program called MailWasher http://www.mailwasher.net/ what will not only check your e-mail automatically for even every minute if you wish and sound a beep whenever you receive new mail, but will also filter junk e-mail and possible viruses. Great program, i love it

And for the barbarian question: even on Raging you almost never see barbarians before around 3000 bc. If youre unlucky they might harass you already in 3500 bc, but thats very rare, even on Raging. So i wouldnt worry about barbarians yet for few millenia if they are set to Roaming.
