I need to know about any rush requests. The first two turns (perhaps first three turns) of this chat will be used almost entirely on upgrading military units, but we may have a lot of spare funds for the last 2 turns of the chat.

I think that the spiro-graph is pretty dizzying too. However, letters are harder to remember then numbers.
Shouldn't you combine the two methods into one? You know, use Ghengis's order with E_T's numbers.

hi ,

, could we use some of that money to rush some buildings

should we not keep some on the side , in case on a national emergency , like putting away each turn ten percent for upgrades and rushes in the future

This is a good point. We had about 1000 lytons in the treasury before we spent the reserve on the initial cannon-to-artillery and riflemen-to-infantry upgrades (we still have more to upgrade beyond that). It's not a bad idea to re-establish this 1000 lyton reserve in the event we have similiar circumstances in the future.

However, I'd also argue that the nation is now at war and is making 400 LPT more than we were when we had that 1000 lyton reserve, so we can afford to use all available funds on critical war-related upgrades and rushbuys for the first turnchat of the war. As we start to move toward the end of the 20 turns of getting 400 LPT, however, we will likely have to save up funds to tide us over the period where we may not be receiving such income (see my report on Finances in the Term 7 Presidency thread).

the "fed" states at least 2500 lytons should be in reserve , ..... and we should start to get more , so we can go on espionage etc , ......

and with 1000 in the bank there is a bonus , ........

Once we get Wall Street, this is true. We haven't built Wall Street yet (and speaking of that, too many cities don't have banks or even marketplaces because we've been too busy warmongering )

Now that we have a great leader, getting Wall Street now in Forbidden City is in the talks. However, I suggested an alternative plan, which doesn't get Wall Street built (and saves our shields for Hoover Dam)
