The real answer is that he's probably not a dictator, although some of his actions during the strike have certainly been despotic. Whether or not they are justified is another matter.

The sole fact that he organizes these groups, Bolivarian Circles, makes a case for him to be elminated from power. The Army should go out and arrested every single member of those groups because they cause nothing but bloodshed. The protesters don't have guns, the Bolivarian circles most certainly do.

Chavez should be eliminated because he is screwing up the economy. Some dictators don't do good for the economy and bankrupt the country and so others do good. But Chavez is one of the worst I have heard of since Mobutu Sese Seko.

I did say that, and there is no economic stimulus bill. Congress is out of session. The 4th quarter economy is sluggish, and there is a genuine fear among economists here that the economy could double-dip into recession again. I personally hope not, that growth restarts, since growth means work. But right now, we're looking at lower than expected Xmas sales, McDonalds posted its first quarterly loss in it history (as McDonalds Corp, they lost money in the early years), and we have 6% unemployment.

A double dip is out of the picture. Growth will restart. Infact this was a very mild recession. McDonalds slumped because they have no innovation.
