Those new infantry units are excellent as always, Fairline. I swear that SS unit is a dead ringer for one on my HD (see below, reduced to 50% of original size). Are you for real about this being your last unit?

That was my source pic, Catfish, although the camo on that pic is a bit dodgy.

I thought as much. I pretty much disregarded the camo in my reduction (it's much darker and less clear). That unit was made pretty quickly and is probably not one of my better ones - hence it wasn't marked for release.

I am suffering from an inability to express myself properly at the moment I meant the camo on the original full size pic is not that great a copy of SS leaf pattern camo; your unit is just dandy!

LOL. Maybe it's me who is suffering from an inability to express himself. I understood you correctly the first time. I figured you meant the original, since I know you have a penchant for military uniforms and historical accuracy. I'm just not that keen on my own unit. IMO, it needs some work.

I tend to agree with you Pericles; looking at the second one, in particular, it's a tad crap. My only excuse was I drew them while under the influence of a very cheeky St Emillion Grand Cru at 1 in the morning

The Japanese troops were better than any I have seen.

Fairline (and all unit makers) certainly deserve credit, which is not nonsense!

And I while think Pericles' honesty is good, was there really any superior Japanese Inf units out there?

Apologies about the Avatar and flag Case. Patriotism really isn't my thing, but we so rarely beat Oz in a sporting event, let alone a World Cup final in Australia. It was a thriller of a game, don't you think?
