I would like to request some French units- the Leclerc, Rafale, and AMX-13. I will be eternally in debt to the person who creates them.

Meanwhile, KIFV v2, still as crappy as ever.

Fairline should recognise this- its a grandchild of his M163 Vulcan. I love your work, man- but I'm not above modifying it for my own perverted purposes.

There you are, Typhoon. However the Sukhoi S-37 Bercut and the Mig I-144 are just prototypes, I bet the Mig is Russia's next fighter, whenever they raise the cash...
I like the Berkut much more though...

THANK YOU *sob* THOSE ARE MAGNIFICENT Finally someone who apreciates the beauty of French weapons (and i see no one is making the joke that the leclerc is the world's fastest tank in reverse)

The Su-47 and MiG 1.44 are wonderful too. You're right, I think the sukhoi is better. but whether or not the russians have the cash for either of them is a whole different story

@ Fairline

Don't mean to add on to your workload but as good as it is, its still slightly incompatible with your more current pieces (which I may add are the best we've seen yet with regards to tanks.)

Fairline, you deserve credit for introducing the next generation of tank graphics after the venerable Capt Nemo just as dannyevilcat deserves accolades for his reinvention of infantry and tanelorn for his aircraft. God Bless you all!

Shameless patronising aside, i'm happy that this thread is no longer dead! I'm going right ahead and removing my own unworthy rafale, it deserves no place in this thread among such fine units!

I really don't think I have earned that praise yet, since I rarely draw anything from scratch...

Anyway, here are some future tanks. The FCS is just a concept drawing, so it's mostly imaginative (140 or 155mm gun planned). The black eagle is a russian prototype armed with a 125 gun upgradable to 152mm. It features steeply sloped armor and a separate ammo compartment, instead of the carousel that is the major flaw in Russian designs (the turrett gets blown off, even by non-fatal hits). It is developed with partial S.Korean funding, as an export project, most pictures are from a distance, so it's guesswork, mostly. Last but not least the Russian T-95 that shares FCS's sponsoon unmanned turret concept, under development since the late 80's/early 90's at Nizni Tagil. 152mm gun, state of the art stuff, very expensive. Some speculative drawings look like this.

Plasma guns, Emp weapons and electromagnetic armor go into the speculative graphics category. I'll be back with a Chinese J10 (also known as "lavi" )
