What do you think about electing a Prime Secretary of the Apolemurian Supreme who would represent us and about writing a political program we would try to enforce in the various Democracy Game threads?

It seems we have a spy in our midst. What is our parties "official" stance on torture?

We should probably get ourselves some sort of plan to waylay the evil tendencies forced upon our citizens by the foul (non-hemp-consuming) war party . Anybody want to draw up a party connie? Maybe we should have nominations to elect our Supreme Ass Inspector? Any thoughts? Or not.

Other DGs have shown that parties come and go (they mostly go, actually ) so that doesn't lend itself very well for civgroups...

well, i was away some time, sorry folks.

so lets get a chairperson (be it man, woman or other).
i would suggest we begin the elections on feb 1st and then every month. i would like to nominate myself because i started this thread and tamerlin, since he seems to be the most active poster around here at the moment. and of course because i don't want to be the chairman but his delegate or something so i can backstab him and seize power in the right moment

candidates so far are my humble self and tamerlin.
the election should begin today, because its the first of the month. but i need a little feedback from you: do we want a real poll like in those threads for all citizens (giving the voters anonymity) or should everyone post their choice (so it can be sure only partymembers count and we don't get a puppet by the warparty as our head. though i'm rather sure whether tamerlin nor myself would follow such a foul tactic)

excuse my bad english, but its 2am here, i just came home from rl-work and am tired.

do we have an official position regarding the current poll about the spot for the second city? if you read those 2 threads you can know, why i'm against the potatoe (though that could be fed to the donkeys ) and in favor of the coal. but of course thats just my personal point of view.

I have already voted in favor of the potato though I would have voted otherwise if I knew your position.

I think we should adopt common positions in this thread, after some debate of course, and stick to them in the various DG polls and threads.

About the Prime Secretary Election, I think we should restrict the possibility to vote to the members of the APP and thus vote through this thread.

once again the better arguments of the app won, even though there was a huge majority of wp members in the chat. after a long debate we could convince the majority of the chatters that we need another settler so we can secure the coalspot for ourselves, instead of building up huge amounts of outdated armies to see them being crushed by our neighbours, who can be our friends instead of our foes if we act in a civilized manner.

Sorry, I have fumbled with my connexion and should have appeared earlier. I will try to be present next time provided a wednesday or a friday is not chosen. I have a role playing game session every wednesday night (a short D&D one) and another one every two friday (a much longer Daredevils one).

the only reason we were able to convinve the wp members to produce another settler was the projected city site coal spot. If we had settled there first like proposed here then I'm sure we would be building units now - the party should get its politics straight!
