At current Tax Rates the 2003 budget is projected to be 200 Billion short. If taxes are cut how much larger will the shortfall become? And when it comes time to pay this all back who will do it, the people who got the tax cut or the people who did not?

Interesting event that followed the Reagan tax cuts, the treasury took in more money overall due to increased economic activity. It is not a zero sum game.

I think its kinda interesting how some people think that there are people out there who will support issues not out of self interest, but out of the goodness of their hearts, yet republicans help out corporations who are only marginally interested in helping out of the goodness of their hearts.

If history repeats itself the middle class will be paying it back. That's what happen with Bush senior and Clinton after Reagan cut taxes for the rich.

When Reagan cut taxes there was also a large increase in spending as well as a significant decrease in the inflation rate. However, eventually interest rates went up and we had to ballance the budget. So even if there were benefits from cutting taxes it can't be proven. There were costs though that we can plainly see.

The big problem with the economy today is over supply. This tax cut will go straight to the stock market. Very dangerous. This is too similar to the conditions in 1929.
