And foolish_icarus, note that the other countries are almost entirely independent even if they are under your control technically. Also, I think your airforce would probably only be tiny, you had none (or less than tiny) and the countries that joined you had very little as well.

Israel has announced that they support the Dutch attempt to hold onto the East Indies and that while they are unable to help, they encourage others to and will allow anyone wishing to do so free passage through the Suez Canal.

Italy has sent troops to the East Indies to fight the rebels.

In India, the vast majority of the fighting has stopped, but a few hard-liners continue to feud (the exact problem that there is in RL Israel).

Russia has imposed a 20% service tax on foreign owned businesses operating within Russia, and a 90% service tax on gross income of Swiss owned businesses. Russia is using the money to promote domestic industries.

Using money raised from the tax on over half of Russia's industries, the Russian army has been upgraded to Huge, and the Russian economy has improved to recession status.

Russia will lift the tax on any European nation's businesses (except Switzerland) that is willing to participate in open trade routes with Russia.

The Kyiv government's position on the Swiss business dominance is that they really don't care. If the Swiss take a couple percent cut off of Ukrainian work in exchange for their investment, that's fine. But if they start getting greedy or try anything against the interests of Kyiv, there's plenty of work to be had without Swiss businesses, especially with the new economic cooperation and all the rebuilding work that needs to be done. As is, the economy and quality of life are improving and the government is easing up on central planning and regulation now that the economy has gotten a kick start. It is expected to be fully recovered to Stable level within 3-5 years.
