BTW Dunkan, forgot to say that since you have supported the military regime in Greece, never lifted a finger for Cyprus (invaded with your blessings and 100% American weapons) etc people have the right not only to be anti-americans, but to cheer with each and every one of your misfortunes.

It's interesting how different countries hold grudges...

Paiktis believes that Greeks still hate America because of the Juntas. Britain was probably miffed at France's support of the Revolutionaries in North America, but they're on almost decent terms now and were allied in the two World Wars (it's hard to forget centuries of warfare I know). America and the UK are all buddy, buddy now even though America was so against everything British we have races go counter-clockwise, etc.

Fascinating how different countries can ignore past differences or accentuate old issues.

Dunkan, I don't consider what happned to the US as anything really important. I don't think you know what suffering means as a country. Hopefully, you'll never find out. What happened to you was nothing compared to say Serbia or Afganistan.

How does Chile feels about you for example? (I don't know I'm asking because I think Greece and Chile can be compared to what they suffered from the US, even though Pinochet was even more brutal).

BTW I don't "think", there's antiamericanism in Greece/Europe. There is.

That's too bad. I didn't say Americans are suffering as bad as others. In fact, we have it quite well. That's no reason to jump with joy at the slightest chance of an American death. You have some serious issues. I think you dehumanize us.
