I have been following a trade deal between our civ’s that appears to be beneficial to both our goals. The deal that I speak of is construction for our free tech in the next age. A non-aggression pact will accompany this trade. Our scientists are very excited about such a trade as they have been unable to discover construction on their own. However, the tax men have a problem with this trade. The problem is construction is a 200 beaker tech, and monotheism 360. Feudalism is 320. And Engineering 360. The tax men say that a trade would not be fair, as the difference is so large. They have informed me that a donation of 110 gold would allow our scientists to continue working. This will also be beneficial to you, as we will be able to use the money to speed up our research, thus giving you the next age tech sooner. Please think about this fair offer and get back to me when you can.

-I hope everyone agrees to this. I can't see why not. I may have asked for too much money but if we get it it will be great.

Well, you forgot to add that they cannot trade the new era advance for 10 turns - but that doesn't matter, since we can offer it for trade to other civs prior to giving it to them.

I could send another message, but I would like to arange trades now for the next era tech. Plus if they think they will be able to trade it they will be more willing to give more money.
But I could adjust the deal, may not get as much money though. However, If we are unable to make deals now we may want to add the 10 turn no trade clause.

I like the 10 turn clause as well. the problem with trading in advance is that we are not sure which we are going to get - although if I recall - it will be Monotheism. So I guess - if we do know it - then we should start hawking it now.

Since Lego is interested in giving us both Construction and Currency for our free tech, we should hold pretty firm on getting some gold out of GoW. Lego says we can have both in 10 turns. If GoW can not do the same or better, I suggest they make an alternate proposal for our free tech that does not include either of those techs (e.g., all gold proposal).

We should fill the forums with descriptions of the war, and keep a few troops around Wittlich East in case ant nosy civs bring a galley to see what is happening. They will think that we are gearing up for war with you when in reality we both will be getting ready to attack them. I have a request to make of our allies the great nation of Glory of War. What we need from you to be successful in this war is:
1. 2-3 galleys with troops.
2. 200 Gold
3. Promise that any cities you take will be handed over to Vox
We need these ready in 8 turns. In return we offer our great allies:
1. a city on BOB
2. our free tech when we get it

Remove item 4, 40 gold in 25 turns. Don't give away everything in the initial proposal. If they have a problem with the 200 gold tell them we will not sell our free tech to either RP or Lego. They should be able to recoup some of the gold from them. If they still think it is too much then offer to give back some later.

From GhengisFarb. The plan was for a turn of peace then war again.

Declare War
It would not let me declare war, I guess it may not allow you to declare war when you accept a peace deal as your team has not received the peace deal confirmation.

This means you will have to declare war on your turn before sending the save on.

Say we gave it to them as appeasment, but we are very conserned that NeuD and GOW will take the oppurtinity and attack our mainland. This could also explain the GOW landing force in our southern part of BOB
