Untill you show anything else, I prefer to believe to statistic of Soviet Defense Department which says something like this 14 397 KIA (I don't remember exact number, but it's less then 14 500).

Those figures are accepted by the majority of historians. Not to mention they come from reliable sources, like the CIA archives.
BTW, just to add to the conflict, some people also forget that the Soviets not only fought Pakistani rebels, but other groups as well. Two of those groups now go by the names of Taliban and the Northern Alliance, both of whom, might I add, committeed numerous acts of genocide, emphasis being on Taliban, both before and especially after 1992.

This source is official document of miltary deportment. It's not some kind of propagandistic crap, but official military d o c u m e n t for internal use within deportment of defence. A pereson who commite mistakes in such documents usually lost his job.

I don't support Saddam. I have no illusions about him, he clearly will burn in hell after the death, but flag of Iraq it is not the same as Saddam Husein. It's the flag of people who currently die, because of American invasion. So, I support victims of American agression, not dictator.
Stalin wasn't angel, and no where more evil man then Saddam, but if anyone will tell me that German invasion in SU of 1941 was justified because Stalin was evil, I'll spit in this person's face.
