They're being careful because they CAN be careful, there's no reason to hurry.

I'd rather wait 1/2 an hour and call in an airstrike rather than make tanks try to take out a 20-40 foot story building...

run the guy over. Or even better. Use the big gun that is on top of those tanks

Or as the military guy says, use some artillery.

Just as an aside, I believe there is a weapon in prototype that actually does shoot down artillery. Sort of like the Patriot for artillery.

Very accurately, if you want to know the truth. All the math guys get sent to the artillery. They have figures down, fairly well. Have had since Napoleon.

How many miles are they still accurate. I want to know if a 155 can take out a semi-large warehouse building nearly as well as a 2000lbs precision bomb, too.
