A contract is something I enter into. The key is to be able to choose what contract you enter into; that increases competition and lowers costs and waste. If there was only one contract, the government one, it wouldn't be much of a contract.

But why? Why is society obligated to help us in the first place? Every time society becomes more responsible for us, we lose more responsibility for ourselves.
Oh, and there's no such things as destructive competition.
