The estate tax is a good idea and I'm glade this bill will never pass the senate. What we need to do is raise the size an estate has to be before the estate tax takes effect because we still want family businesses and family farms to be passed on but we certainly want to take the lion's share of the estates from the heirs of Gates & Buffet.

Most Americans, rightly or wrongly, blame leftist policies for the high inflation and low growth of the 1970s. They've moved right; especially concerning fiscal matters.

I'm hoping people see how poorly Bush has managed the economy & the national budget and boot him out next year but his reelection seems just as sure as Reagon's or Clinton's second term was.

The biggest problem is we Democrates don't have a strong moderate leader. Alot of that is because the far left controls the party (Nacy Palosi anyone?) and they force candidates to pander to all sorts of stupid and out ragous leftist adgendas before they'll give them the green light meaning every candidate will be DOA when they get looked at by the main stream.

Clinton did not have a moderate platform. Fortunately he only really pressed the ideas that the focus group of the day said might fly. Articulate? Where do you get the $200,000 figure? Why not $20,000? Why not $20 million? This is just some arbitrary number that you pulled out of you a$$ because it fits your idea of what fair is.
