how many fly without them anti aircraft missile defenses due to the lack of money , ......

standard ops in some republic that starts with a "C" , two helicopters fly in formation , only one has the defenses loaded , ......

Yes, the Kirov is very nice, but when you only have one of them, it's pretty useless. A Kirov could arguably take a US carrier, but the US has 12 carriers and the Russians have 1 Kirov. You do the math. Even the Brits could take it out if they needed to.

DF, you have to give them Russians some credit - they had to transition from a command economy to a market economy. Once their industry as a whole starts diversifying away from capital expenditure almost exclusively in the natural resources sector, we'll see this country reborn. And hopefully, a much nicer player globally than throughout history.

a us large carrier holds how many , ..... a difference of 50+ aircraft , .....

on top of that , the kirov has some serious troubles in his propellor shafts , ....

I am just puzzled why in hell would they want to immigrate to Israel. To serve 6 years in the army? I am pretty much surprised that there is practically no re-immigration from Israel to Russia among young males.

IIRC, it is somewhere in between. GDP per capita (PPP) in Israel is twice as high as in Russia, and twice as low as in the US.
