	Design your dream house! Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

The idea of this thread is to describe what kind of house you want, the house of your dreams. Let's keep it some what realistic, so no 'I have an airport next to my garage' things. But you can still pretty much have bigger and expensive things. It doesn't matter if you can't afford it now, obviously you'd otherwise live in it already.

Or, if you have your dream house, you can post pics of it!
Or if your house can become that house of your dreams after small modifications, let's here them!
Or if you know your dream house, but you haven't bought it, or can't buy it, post a pic!

Much the same as the Teletubbies live in actually. At least on one side/demihemisphere, then the other one is just a wall of soil. Like Bag End. Then a lift/slide in the middle so I can get my PC outside and sit with it in the evening sun,.

THE PERFECT EXISTANCE.

An energy-efficient, enviromentally-designed, self-house near an empty road, in a place where desert or jungle meets the sea. If situated on an island, it better be a jungle. Otherwise, I'd prefer the desert, with it's breathtaking views. a small shallow lagoon where my Yacht will be anchored.

The house will be a 3-story building, with a large greenhouse near it.

Half of the ground floor will be an entrance hall, with stairs and an elevator leading to the upper hall. Also, there will be a large guestroom. It would be neatly decorated.

There will be a study and a 3 bedrooms on the second floor. The study would have an elevator of it's own to the basement, which we be the place of my Laboratory, and my various toys. In two separate rooms, of course.

Only a quarter of the 3rd floor would be under a roof. That quarter will house the kitchen. The rest would be the place for a dinning table, and a pool.

Also, there would be a garage, with two cars, one of them a sports car, and the other a 4x4. Both would be Fuel-Cell fueled.

some 50 meters away, there would be a Helipad, and a hangar near it, with a VTOL aircraft parked in it.

I could also say that all of this would be meaningless without the beautiful woman I'd love greatly, who'd be the mother of my 3-4 great kids. But there is no point in describing them.

That's it for me. A new-age green megalomaniac american dream hybrid.

Btw, I also have the "amazing single guy big city appartment" theme going on in my head.

I would like to have a country home (not on a farm) that is located something like 20 miles outside the nearest city.

It would be two stories with an attached double garage. On my estate, I would like to have a wooded trail area with a stream or creek running through it.

The house itself would appear to be somewhat rugged in appearance (logs and/or large stones). But inside, it would have all the modern conveniences. And of course, I gotta have this fabulous deck that wraps around the outside -- two sides of the house, creating an L-shape deck.

A relatively modest house, two floors, two (or more) car garage and a finished basement with a shop area under the garage. Also an attic and a widow's walk on the roof, with a post suitable for mounting a telscope in the 16" range.

It needen't be on a hill, but should have a clear shot to the horizon on all sides, and be in a reasonably low-light area.

Few trees, small formal garden with a koi pond.

My perfect house will be really really wide and really really tall and filled with cool stuff. I'll have a big kitchen with 61 cooks who have funny cook hats and big moustaches and say "Mamma mia" and make me whatever I want every day and ice cream with it. It's going to have a waterslide that's the tallest waterslide in the world and end in a big blue pond with swans and mermaids in it. I'm going to have a helicopter and a tank and an ocean liner and I'm gonna ride them every day.

I'll have a computer which is super-fast and has every game in the world and I'm gonna have the biggest TV in the world and it's gonna show every channel even including the porn channels. I'll also have a huge bathtub with 14 nublie nulbie nublei young maidens and they'll give me sponge baths and something I'm not quite sure of. I'll have a big fluffy bouncy bed and I'll be able to bounce in it even when someone's looking and wrestle with my maidens.

I'll have a huge cabin of cool-ass guns and explosives and I'll shoot them off every day and laugh. And my house will be guarded by ninjas and if some crooks or thieves come close my ninjas will totally flip off and kill them all while shouting "HARAKIRIIIII!" or something equally cool. Oh! Oh! And I'll have a big vault of money like Uncle Scrooge has and I'll roll around in my money every day! I'll also totally have all sorts of cool staircases and sekrit doors and stuff that makes it look mysterious and stuff.

And I'll have spires and helicopter ramps and an airport next to my garage space shuttle launching pad next to my garage. And I'll have a zoo with lions and tigers and zebras and lions and giraffes and koalas and kangaroos and lions and panthers and ostriches and hippopopopopotamuses and unicorns. And I'll have monkey butlers and they'll serve my every whim and every night as I go to sleep they'll tell me jungle stories.

I am not picky. I can't stand gardening so some nice penthouse with plenty of space that is sufficient for me without seeming too empty...and a T3 A nice lofty view as well, over the pyramids or New York skyline or something pleasant like that...

As a second country-estate home to compliment my penthouse appartment in Stockholm you mean?

Um, I'm a big fan of railway stations, of the kind of vastness they represent. I like to be able to see really far ahead and still see a wall... So what I'd like is for the house to be dominated by one giganormous room stretching over two or three floors (each about 1.5 normal floors in height), and throughout the width of the building. It'd be south-facing and have one huge, concave glass wall letting in light. It could possibly have a suspended, art-gallery-style floor in the middle allowing it to be in effect two rooms... I haven't decided yet.

My dream house would be a cube. 120 feet to a side. The rooms would have fixed positions but every night the hallways would shift. My sleeping room would be filled to the ceiling with pillows.
