	Cats or dogs? Got spare money?

So..? What's your prefered pet, of these two? Just curious...

I haven't included other animals (like Spiders, snakes, etc), since I want this thread to be a cat vs dog thread

I defently prefer cats... I don't have a cat now, but I have had cats many years ago...

pets are a pain in the a$$ to care for but very loveble..my sister is on vacation so i have to take care of her rabbit (no it isnt a bunny ) and well I love the thing already ...but ok cats and dogs....give me cats when they are small...but when they are big i dont like them....i like dogs but i dont like the smell....so none of the 2

Cats... I've grown up around cats, and they also seem to fit with my personality. I don't like needy animals. Cats are independent and show you love when they feel like it.

I'm not a fan of dogs. I want a pet that can think for itself.

Dogs. Though I'm usually fine with cats, I just prefer dogs. I like animals in general.

The only reason I don't own a dog is that if I were to get one, it would be a retriever (Golden, probably), and retrievers require LOTS of attention. My gf and I both work, and our commute is 45mins each way. 8hr day + 1hr lunch = 10.5 hrs away from home Mon-Fri. No friggin' way.

I agree with what Sava said about his reasons for prefering Cats.

yes my orange boys are stupid cats, but they are great! the Himalayan in the top is the evil one. He (Mickey) hunts the other cats and routinely exerts his superiority. He's the "boss man" according to my dad. The "orangee's", also a Sava's dad term, are allowed outside and bring back dead rabbits, mice, squirrels, and birds.

Nah, the cat isn't B&W, (though she pretty much is, green eyes though).

The pictures are B&W because I was bored last night, took some pictures playing with the manual settings on the camera in B&W mode.

all pit bulls.

my children.

Cats are alright. I would never own one though.

I like animals you can wrestle with...and that cuddle and that show me that unconditional love that only a dog can truly give.

I ain't a big fan of pit bulls. It's the size of their head!

I know the get a misnomer for being violent, but I know a couple bulls who are the nicest dogs you'll ever meet... I just think the are ugly... sorry

My shepard rocks, though she'd lose in a battle agains a toy poodle...

My buddy has a 170lb Rott, and since she has know it since it was a pup, my dog can push him around (even though she is only 60lbs)...

pits arent ugly.

my biggest male has the biiggggggest freaking head. the other three are smaller headed. I'll post pictures when I get a chance, I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Hey, Femme, not knocking, I know a lot of people who think pits are gorgious I just don't see it... I want a pug, but my wife thinks they are ugly, I think they are cute...

My buddy with a pit loves that thing to death, and if I call it ugly I get it sicked on me... Though all it does is kiss me to death and try to hump my leg...

My cousin Bethany has two pit bulls, they are great dogs. I went to a gathering at their house a few months ago and myself, my cousin's fiance, and his father were flying a huge biplane kite. The dogs were directly under the kites trying to jump in the air and get them. After the wind picked up and blew the kite down, the one dog, Maya, jumped on the kite and attacked it. It was the funniest thing I'd ever seen a dog do.
