Is there actually a neutral news network? BBC is slightly conservative, same as ITV, channel 4 is liberal (incidentally the most intellectual in the UK ). Not sure about American ones?

Do you know why MSNBC cancelled Donahue? It was their top-rated show, but they were afraid it would become a center for anti-war reporting (or so says the leaked memo). NBC, which is owned by GE, doesn't want to be seen as anti-war (especially being owned by a weapon's producer). Since all of the news channels basically tried to be just like Fox, they killed themselves with the viewers who don't want to watch Fox.

If there was just one solidly liberal news channel, an anti-Fox, i.e., liberal and accurate, it would probably do quite well.

Being conservative has 0 to do with ones position with respect to capitalism. Landowners and the Church are ussually wary of ramapant commercialism and capitalism, which they rightly see as disruptive to the old order. You ignore the roots of the word liberal. The only leftisit bit of Stalism is its view on religiong, though the creation of a personality cult does much in the way of solidifying a new civic religion (NK being a prime example).

It would need:

1. A charismatic host.

2. A liberal with conviction and backbone

3. Sponsorship that was willing to take the gamble.

No, Donahue's show got cancelled because his ratings dropped by half in a short period of time. The company is in business to make money and shows which loss money get cancelled.

Well, let's look at the Mormon Church here:

1. Wishes for world-wide Mormon revolution
2. Want radical re-ordering of society because currently society is "sinful"
3. Believe the end times are coming near (not official, but widely acknowledged), these changes must be brought about VERY soon.

Yep, so i guess the Mormon Church is a radical leftist organization But Mormons already have a reputation for being EXTREMLY LIBERAL on everything.

It's description of commuinsts, not Stalininsts. Communists advocate for this. Stalininsts come later when those changes already made. Trotsky advocated for worldwide revolution, not Stalin. Stalininsts advocate for strong STATE, a strong socialist STATE. Stalin stopped export of revolution and abandoned this idea. Instead of this he start to create a powerfull state. If there was no Stalin and guys like Trotsky were in charge in 20-30s, Russia would became like Afghanistan under Taliban's rule, which I can't call a state ( a bunch of fanatics with their own idea how to change whole world and who make attempts to change it). Stalinist belongs to isolutionist branch of communists.
