AGA contains: 8 vet MIs (1 through 8), 3 vet NMs (6, 8, 9), 1 elite Warrior, 2 regular Warriors (14 units).
AGB contains: 12 vet MIs (9 through 11, 13 through 21), 2 vet Horsemen, 3 vet NMs (10 - 12), 1 regular NM, 5 Catapults, 1 Settler (25 units)

1 vet Horseman and 1 Catapult are active (or soon to be active) units which will be added to AGA or AGB later.

Non-War Orders

G01 I. Princess of Apolyton [WhiteBandit] moves 8-8-8 then uses FORTIFY ALL trick with WB.
G02 II. Expedition [Flash, Jagjef] moves 8-8 to see if GCA has any units stationed on its iron mountain. If there are no units then it will move 8 again and drop off Flash and Jagjef onto the mountain. If there is a unit on the mountain then it will do the same, but land the Swordsmen on the hill instead. If there's units on both the mountain AND the hill then the Galley will move 1 and land the Swordsmen on the forest tile 4 of where the Galley will be.

M12 XII. BigFurryInfantry moves 2-6-2; heading for the barb camp southeast of Equilibrium (3-3-3-3-6 : six turns).

H02 vonHorseman moves to Mingapulco and fortifies (9-8-9-8); it will use the Barracks to heal then rejoin AGB.

N01 I. MerZenary moves 6.
N07 VII. Ghengis moves 8-4 and fortifies; will be used to defend Karina, BB and Tripoli.
N13 XI. ZargonX moves 2-1-1; heading for the front lines.
N14 XII. 'Apolyton' moves 2-1-1; heading for the front lines.
N15 XIII. 'Bananatopia' moves 1-1-1; heading for the front lines.
N16 XIV. 'Mingapulco' moves 2-1-2 into Karina; heading for the front lines.

W07 VII. WhiteBandit disembarks if there is a non-GWT tile to land at (unlikely).

War Orders

The Settler at Cuido 2 moves 2 and founds the fort city (FC).

Army Group B:

  • All 5 Catapults (C01 - C05) will move to the FC and bombard the two GCA units at FC 4. They should do 2 or 3 HP damage to them.

  • M09 Hawkeye kicks off the invasion by attacking one of the units at FC 4. M10 Grog and M11 Slash (if necessary) will move in to finish the units on that hill. It should not take more than 3 MIs to kill them both.

  • M13 Beta will attack the GCA Swordsman at FC 3. M14 and maybe M15 will follow up to defeat the Horseman and the Swordsman if it survived the first attack. If the Horseman retreats or has 1 or 2 HP remaining after an unsuccessful attack then N10 Kloreep will attack it and kill it to begin our GA.

  • The remainder of AGB will move to FC in preparation for future operations.
Army Group A:

  • M01 Vlad attacks the elite GCA Sword at Elucidium 6. If it loses then M02 PanzerInfantry will move in and kill the unit.

  • The remainder of AGA, including the 2 regular Warriors (W02 and W11) will move to Elucidium 6 in preparation to capture the city next turn.

All other units to remain as they are.

Technically we don't have to declare war before doing so, and it also wasn't involved in the upper theater (perhaps I should have named things "GCA Front" and "Otherwise" with regards to the orders) so I didn't want to add it. Plus seperating the Galley orders might make things confusing... at least this way no one will miss one or the other.

Reminder: although the random seed is preserved meaning that the outcome of battles cannot be changed via something like reloading, in my SP games I have noticed that changing the ORDER of your movement etc. orders can result in different results for the same battle. For example, in a SP game I played recently using the latest PtW version, an Elite unit of mine took a city and spawned a GL. If I reloaded and made that move earlier in the turn than I had before, I still won but no GL emerged.

Thus it will become important to signpost which moves happen first so Consuls playing at the same time can get the exact same results from battles. Even WF changes may affect battle outcomes to some extent (untested), so we may have to decide upon a strict official progression for orders to be played in, eg WF, then workers, then other unit movements, then attacks.

Yes, especially from now on all MOW orders should be conducted in the order laid out and before anything else is done in the turn (production, Workers, etc.) just to be safe...

I was just talking with Donegeal about this a bit ago...

We should wait until sometime in the evening or so (for the US... sorry MWIA ) so as many people can be in on the chat as possible. That goes for whichever day GWT decides to send the save, be it today, tomorrow or the day after.

It should be a doozy.

How does 8pm eastern time sound? That would be 100 GMT I think.

Though I have absolutely no ability to set the time there doesn't seem to be anyone on right now who could confirm a time. That being the case, if the consuls have a problem with it then they can, of course, change it.

Of Course, we first have to get the save back, before we will know when it will be. But we should atleast have 24 hours of notice. Watch this thread for any update as to who currently has the save.

As of about 15 minutes ago (from when this reply was posted), CFC passed the save onto GWT. It will then go to GCA, CGN and then back to us.

24 hours may be possible.....

what if we said at 8pm EST (0100GMT) the day after we get it, but no less than 24 hours after the exact time we get it? That gives everyone at least a day to get their asses here.

So if the save arrives before 8pm EST Saturday, we play 8pm EST Sunday. If it arrives after 8pm, then we play 8pm EST Monday.

Just thinking on this, this will likely take me out of it completely. Would 12 or 16 hours maximum time be enough? And are there any serious objections to 8pm EST?

Well, as long as the save continues to move then things should be alright... we have been preparing for this turn for a while.

As long as people watch here for regular updates as to where the save currfently is, then they will know when we might have the chat. I was meaning 24 hour notice as to just keeping track and planning 24 hours from whenever.

Currently, GWT still has the save. Besides GCA, they have been taking the longest these last several turns to play their turn.

Well, now that you're asking me, yes. There are times for which it is at least daylight in the US, NZ and Europe. It is not a US-only game.

This time is around 20:00 GMT or so, which is 15:00 EST, 16:00 EDT New York time, 21:00 BST London time, 22:00 CEST Paris time, 8:00 "Mike" Wellington time)

But this time, I can understand that as soon as the turn is here, we should start playing.
