Do we need a coup system? Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

Before starting on building some advanced coup system, let's first have a simple poll: "[b]Do we need a coup system?[:b]" The idea of such a system would be to have the ability to throw government and party officials from offices by other means than elections. I presume or at least hope that the probability of an official being purged will depend on his or her performance in-game, meaning that eg an absent official will be more easier to purge than a hard-working one.

IIRC this and that are two previous threads where a coup system was discussed. I put the poll on three days.

What is this 'Hivobanana' you speak of? Is this an attmept to overthrow the almighty xenobanana?
(Gaps all around)

Of course we need a coup system! If we didn't have one, it would ruin all my plans for fun later in the game!

Yes, we absolutely need a coup system. We wouldn't be proper Hiverians if we didn't.
