no contact, from past experience they would say
1) they didnt know about it
2) they cant do anything about it

a new provider we use now offers the ability to select one-by-one the campaigns that you want to run instead of giving you a take-it-or-leave-it package....

we're also showing cpc(cost per click) text ads from google now....

as for the rest , a large part of responsability layes with the ISP 's , its easy for them to block it , ...... and as for gator , some have done so

Yep, just came to the site. Viewed two pages on the forums: the "Community" forum page, and the "Logged into Directory" thread, and got five installer prompts! NetpalOffers.net, The Gator Corporation, Spyware Company, and some other which I don't remember. Quite a sorry sight this, never seen so many installers around here before.

Yeah I've had 2 Gators and another piece of software it wanted me to install. I don't know what, but I don't really want to find out.

Per Ming's request:

Light ultra-special, IE 6.0, Windows XP professional.

For the last two days, I've experienced a barrage of pop-ups when I navigate around Apolyton. It seems always to be the same set of 3-4 pop-ups. If I close the pop-ups, they open right back up again; if I leave them open, no extra ones spawn. I remember this being a problem a long time ago, but the ultra-special has worked well until now.
