There might be fewer people in Iowa but at least we don't have a horrendous murder rate, or breath high levels of smog. Besides, right now, I live in Illinois.
As two other guys mentioned after this post of yours, you mne as well pull down stop signs -- they distract the driver.
Pull down all those trees off sides of the road -- they distract the driver.
The point is, if you cannot drive without adapting to such trivial distractions, then you should NOT be driving at all, period.
