Sure but when you are trying different strategies in both...

In 1 the Dutch find the natives fascinating and want to help them overthrow their European masters... the other they want to wipe out the existance of such savages. Walking around without clothes? Disgusting!

If you don't want to play I would suggest letting Wittlich take over. If you want me to play my turn you need to email it to me because you can't download attachments off Apoly for some reason.

You can blame me for this one. I got the idea after playing the French in a SP game and overrunning the Dutch. Amphibious MI are very strong until muskets arrive.

I didn't take out a settler so assume the Dutch are still in the game. SirOsis posted in the other AoD thread that he was pursuing a strategy in one of his games of helping the natives against the european oppressors. I hope it was this game as he now has the chance to be one of the natives!

I have no intention of pursuing the Dutch into the centre of North or South America so SirOsis can go off and found a new capital next to a goldmine.

I am concerned about England and France's research position. If they concentrated on warfare has their tech suffered? There was supposed to be some exchanging of techs.

If nothing else I think Holland should be given the techs Engand and France have researched as it will now take Holland 30 turns at max research rate to research one tech.

Spain pledges to gift its first researched tech to Holland.

My research has not been affected. There are only 4 initial techs to research anyway. The details of a peace agreement between the English and the Dutch have yet to be agreed (assuming the Dutch will accept a settlement). That is not a matter for Spain.

Got spare money?

What gave me the hint something had happened was when I look at my research at 60 turns. I didn't realize that the MI was amphibious. Guess I should have played the scenario or read up on it a bit more.

Europe is far to political and warlike for me. I think I'll find a nice place to watch the buffalo roam and find myself some nice native women to take care of me.
