Hey Smelly, I didn't get any e-mail.
Paddy, as far as my hours go, I like to stay up until Midnight. I seem to have an odd problem with sleep. If I go to bed just a half hour early (11:30 PM) then I will often wake up up to 4 hours earlier (5:Am). I just did that last night. So, I just got out of bed. It's 5:30 Am here.
This may come in handy for my new class that I start tommorow. It goes between 7:30 Am and 1:00 Pm.
Normally, I go to bed between 12:00 PM and 1:Am, last night I finished my game early, and didn't have anything else to do. I also usually wake up between 8Am and 9:Am, but I will often wake up any time after 5.
Man, you know it's bad when you wake up to Bob and Tom just starting their morning show, and you don't have work or class that day.
Hope Smelly gets me the game,
Dan O.

Hey, sorry about the long wait. I got a ton of emails yesterday. Somehow the game got lost amongst the mass.

Well, I just bit the bullet. I spent $64 to upgrade my ATI Radeon 7000 Video Card to an Apollo Bloody Monster with the NVidia Geforce 4 FX 5200 chip, 128mb of DDR 400 (200x2) with a 128bit bus.
It comes with S-Video out, and DVI out. It also comes with an S-Video cable.
Until now, the video card was my weakest link in my PC. To get some idea, the Radeon 7000 had a clock speed of 150mhz. This newer card has a clock speed of 250mhz. The Radeon also had DDR 300mhz ram, this card has DDR 400mhz. Finally, my old card was only DirectX 7 compatable, this one is DirectX 9 compatable.
To top it all off, this card is $10 less than what I paid last year for the 7000, although last year I got ripped of by buying at a big box store. I paid $75 for the 7000, only to see it online a few weeks later for $35.
I hope it gets here soon,
Dan O.
