I can - but I am going to sleep first (as I have to find it).

But if you are ready to try for your own, it is something with open a chat window ( ' ) at write attach #x (x the number of the player you want to make an AI - detach the other way).

But I am not quite sure - try a little or seek in the CTP archive for attach/detach. I am sure the info is there somewhere.

the Giant Bird PBEM needs a player to take over the Mexicans, after Alex left.
The game is in a final stage, the Mexicans are not exactly in pole position, but with the rigth ally you can still have some good fun.

didnt see your post at first.

i typed "/attach #NR" (and variants of it) in the chat window in a hotseat game with 4 human players. it seemed to have some effect, but i couldnt figure out a system yet. will try again later on.

Hey Gang! I've been playing CTP1 on my laptop for quite a while now, and I'm looking for a human PBeM opponent for a one-on-one game. Anyone want to take on the challenge of coaching/thrashing a newby at CTP?? I can promise a turnaround rate of approx 36-48 hours per turn, unless I'm on vacation or something. Even then I'd try to keep it going with the laptop, if possible. I have played other games by email, mostly traditional wargames like Third Reich, Russian Campaign, Panzer Blitz, etc. My email is: johnzim63@yahoo.com. Thanks for your interest. -JZ

I just wanted to post in case I could help in any games. I don't mind taking up a losing player so the others can finish even. just looking to help and fill in when I am starving to play and don't have a game. I have a good turn around time and i am an experienced player. i can be a partner if that is necessary. basically if anyone is needed in a game I will do it. i can probably handle about 3 to 4 more so let me know. Hmmmmmmm......... Okay, let me rephrase: Are there any non-expert, non-bored-with-novices, non-hypertrolling players who are looking for a one-on-one PBeM game of CTP with a neophite player, and who don't cheat and do consider it cheating to find and exploit unintended glitches in the game program?

Sorry, but I can't take more games right now - but if you can get Troll on the hook, take him. He is only trolling here, not in the game.

And no regular PBEM'er is cheating or using unintended glitches

I think most of the glitches have been discussed more than once in this forum and only one or two has been accepted as half-way-inteded from the start though well hidden - farm under city "bug/feature" is the only one comming to my mind this morning.
