We can discuss the further division of the newer lands to the north in another 25 turns or so when one of the two of us finally expands close to that point.

We probably will be in contact with the Vikings by then but the lands between here and there are either jungles, hills, or mountains and deserts after that. A pretty good natural border and the mountians if defended by fortresses protecting a few observation towers we should see them coming long before their Berserkers are here. With high offense and low defense letting them move next to you and then you attacking them is the way to win against their higher attack strengths.

The warrior crossed the desert in the North and now sees some hills and some plains to the east. The western coast is not to far away. So the Vikings must be to the north east I suspect. Long time and no sightings.

After turn 81 sent.

Just looked at the earlier map exchanges and did not realize the Aussies had also advanced further north but to the east. This is good as we can search out the Vikings easier. Russian archers are moving to new overwatch positons further north from present positions along the southern and eastern border zones. They will undoubtably be needed later after discovering the Vikings.

In other news...

The city of Odessa in the southern border region with the Aussies has created the first Russian Naval unit.

Viking borders spotted due northeast of the warrior contact is now imminent. Will sell the Vikings contact with the Aussies if the Aussies approve? OR would the Aussies like to remain hidden to the Vikings in preparations for a big surprise to come.

The Vikings are not as advanced as either of us; however, they do have three sources of Iron and there is only one source in the South between Russian and the Aussies.

The Russians traded the Vikings communications with the Aussies for their World map which should be available with the current map and tech deal. Unfortunately the Russians do not have any other techs to "sweet'en" the deal with but do have the larger world maps.

This is the Vikings territory and they do not have contact with anyone else as of our meetings.

Agreed.

The Russians have dispatched a few Warriors who are aready in the mountains and the Archers watching over the River Valleys to the east of the current Russian settlements will begin moving in that direction.

I propose first setting up a blocking screen to prevent any further southern movements by the Vikings. Then the Aussies can build Swordsmen and the Russians will build Horsemen when Horses get connected to support the Aussie Swordsmen and Russian Archers already in the mountains by that time.

Once all the units are in place then we will attack but not until more units are available.

Also building a northern port to sail catapults around the northern coastlines as the Viking cities are protected by Mountains and Jungles from overland wheeled travel.

There appears to be a possably sizable land mass off the western coast of the continent near the Russian expansions. Russia has a Galley tasked with exploring this area by moving the Warrior and Scout already there across the coastal channel.

There also appears to be a little more to the far north eastern edge of the continent near where the Aussies are exploring the peninsula that turns south from the Vikings.

Exploring these areas may reveal other smaller coastal or sea links to other neigboring continents.
