Because MS is a larger company than Apple right now, they have the resources to handle many more projects and products than Apple. With significant growth, Apple will someday be able to do the same thing.

MS doesn't really innovate as much as they could. That's because they behaved like a monopoly and could care more about themselves than their customers.

You know, Apple started behaving this way after Steve Jobs left the company long ago. This led to Apple's downfall. Seems MS acts the same way and will soon suffer the same fate. Oh well. What comes around goes around.

When a company has such a small marketshare it can't afford such competition. When Apple grows to like 10-15% marketshare again, then they might be able to afford some competition in the Mac market, and that in turn should lead to lower prices and even higher innovation.

Anywayz, it's the other way around. Behaving like a monopoly may make a company rich in the short-run, but in the long run it leads to downfall, so no, this is not a good "money-making" way to do bizness.
