I get an error when I start the scenario:

(SMEDS Application Error)

Does anyone know what might cause this? I've had this with another WWI scenario too before
I'm using PC MGE and I extracted all the files in the zip to 'E:\Games\civ2gold\SCENARIO\Kaiser'

Do I need to do something else then?

Are you using the most recent patched version and the no-limits add-on?

If not, get all available upgrades (from poly downloads) and that should help!

You'll get that error if you try to run some scenarios on Win2k/XP without installing the latest Civ2 update. Get it from CivFanatics and then try running Kaiser.
