you guys should give different players different skills(advantages at least, maybe disadvantages too?) so the game is more dynamic. there should be unique skills per position if not per player. you could have both hidden and unhidden skills too. make it more like real soccer...

Well, skill instead of accuracy, but basically, yes.
Pass accuracy would depnd upon skill, and if your skill was high enough, then the defender's attempt to intercept or win the ball would be adjusted by an, as yet unknown, modifier.
Right then:
You get 100 points to divide as you see fit for your player (rush goalies of course ).
A player with skill of 55 has over 50% on passing, so he could pass the ball to a teammate, and the defender would have less chance of intercepting. If the defender and the teammate are in the same square, then the player who won the ball would be the one with the highest toal of speed and strength. The high skill of the player passing the ball would mean that the defender would suffer -10 in this comparison.
Peter Beardsley (skill 55) passes the ball to Gary Lineker (speed 55, strength 20), who is marked by Ronald Koeman (speed 35, strength 45).
If Terry Butcher (skill 20) had passed the ball, then (35+45>55+20) Koeman comes away with the ball, but since Beardsley was a magician with an ugly face, then he manages to thread the pass through into space for Lineker to run on to. (55+20>35+45-10)
Is that clear?
