I wonder what, if any, strategic value Reno has? Yes, there's Hawthorne further south with it's ammo depot and the Fallon Naval Station (in the middle of a desert hundreds of miles from the nearest ocean... ), but what possible reason other than "soft target" would someone - in this case the U.S.S.R. - nuke Reno?
