In an interesting turn, both Jamski and the Doctor manage astonishingly fast KOs (which forced me to rewrite spreadsheet formulae again, and also demostrates why I was wanting additional HP for the later rounds). Jamski pulls into the lead, with Theben in second and Hercules Romani and Spacius Maximus in joint third place. Despite his impressive KO, at least one of these matches must have a turnaround if our current champion wants to make the semi-finals, and he has control over only one of them.
Chaunk's earlier impressive performance seems to have petered out somewhat - could it be that his strategies have already staled? Nevertheless, he still has a chance to pull back against all his current opponents.
Hercules Romani appears to be executing an effective defensive strategy, since very little damage is done by either contestant in any of his bouts.
And, finally, it looks like The Ram stands a good chance of escaping the 'nil point' fate  , although none of his matches are yet conclusive.
So, did smasher need extra points? Well, 10 more against the Doctor could have scored him a double KO, which would certainly have altered the standings somewhat.
