This is a pretty pathetic thread. The Republican party is right on just about all the issue and the majority of Americans agree, else someone else (Dems) would be in control of Congress. So, get off your high horses folks and recognize that your opinion is not better than the other guy's, just different.

Wrong. The way it works right now, a majority of the majority (which may actually be a minority of the people) can control the government.

Plus, even if most of the Americans support the RR, it doesn't mean I can't complain about it.

Not quite. Just because these authors have specific purposes of writing does not necessarily mean that this particular author has also limited his phrase of 'getting the government out of the bedrooms' does not pertain to abortion? Most people think that abortion does have something to do with sex, and sexual freedoms.

As for your complaint about Trudeau, you know that the US influences Canada, so why can't the influence travel the other way? Ideology crosses borders.
