[b]The 2nd Battle of Eider
Spaced Cowboy sensed that Vlad was weak, and gathered the largest attack fleet yet seen in the sector to go and crush him. His Titans powered towards the seemingly unprotected base of Eider, when suddenly the leading Lasertitan exploded into shrapnel, as if it had hit a wall of pure energy. The following ship swerved wildly, scraping along the invisible wall, and warning the others to back off. Vlad's sheild generators were fully functional.
Spaced Cowboy loses 1 Lasertitan and all her crew, and another Lasertitan damaged.
The Battle of Chou
The rich and fertile rice-farming planet of Chou was a valuable base in Ljcvetko's dominions, and the fleet always kept at least some millitary presence there as observers. Thus Ljcvetko had time to summon his entire navy to orbit the world before the combined fleets of Skanky Burns and Trokair arrived to wrest it from his control. The Northeast of the Sector would hang in the balance in one of the greatest space battles ever fought...

Ljcvetoko's fleet rushed to the attack, trying to bring their lasers to short range, but the Allies split and ran, keeping at long range at all times and spreading ships across the system, before turning and launching torpedoes. The Allies initial torpedo attacks were countered immediately by a huge wave of fighters, not only easily neutralising the threat, but causing havok amongst the widely dispersed Allied fleet. The ships simply couldn't cover each other against the fighters. Casualties were high, but the admirals stood firm. They weathered the storm and then opened up with their lasers, wiping the void clean of fighters and ignoring Ljcvetko's torpedoes, which exploded harmlessly between the Allied ships. Then they got their revenge. The stars were blotted out by the huge wave of torpedoes that crashed pash Ljcvetko's weak laser defence and smashed into his fleet. The Allies followed the torpedoes with fighters, but now Ljcvetko's lasers were much more effective, and as the weapons warmed up they began to reach out to the allied fleet, causing hit after hit. The Allies were against the wall, and launched every remaining fighter ship, every repair drone, every shuttle, to form a screen against Ljcvetko's massive laser batteries. Ljcvetko chose this moment to send a second wave of torpedoes, and the Allied fighters had their day, offered clear targets by the lasers ceasefire. It was the turn of the defenders to be shredded by small craft. But it was not enough. Casualties on both sides were extreme, and the Allied admirals had seen enough. One last laser broadside failed to destroy the tough defending fleet and the few remaining Allies returned to their docks, mission failed.

In other news, Ljcvetko built a base, and his spy training programme was infilterated by agents from another Overlord and compromised.
