Here they are, the flags of the African Union, the Commonwealth of Nations and the Nordic Council.
I have to admit I haven't heard of the Nordic Council either.

Here's my ideas. First, I thought that maybe the Americans could have a Statue of Liberty Wonder, but not actually the Statue of Liberty. Instead, it would use either the Eiffel Tower or Women's Suffrage slot (only because it seems to be such a powerful symbol down there). Second, I thought maybe the Western separatists and California could have a secret alliance, or at least a good initial attitude toward each other, as their goals are similar, and a Western Canadian Conservative gov't and Californian Republican one would have much in common. And also, I think that California should be able to utilize F-15's by taking them from the National Air Guard (I saw them on the runway coming down in LAX on a trip to Disneyland several years ago.
BTW, could I please get just two more split flags: an Imperial German/Royal Italian mix (circa 1901), and, for the same scenario (switched with a batch file), a Nazi German/Fascist Italian mix? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Sure those flags won't be a problem. As for the F-15's of the air national guard, I like that idea quite a bit.
What other hardware would California use in battle I wonder?

I think that also California could easily subourn the local Coast Guard, thus getting PT boats and even frigates. They could even arm LAPD police choppers as makeshift gunships. The Western Canadians and First Nations would likely rely on infantry, but perhaps with the 'ignore zones of control' and 'alpine' abilities. Quebec, I think, should be able to arm a few vehicles (assuming they don't get stolen, what with Montreal being North America's car theft capital and all), but they'd likely be more for mobility than firepower or armor. Quebecois gunboats on the St. Lawerance are also possible. I imagine that the U.S., due to budget cuts, would have had to decommission many vehicles (especially expensive ships) and discharge many personnel, but would still have the best stuff initially. Canada would have much as they do today: APC's, Leopard II's, CF-18's, and frigates, mostly. Tell me what you think and anything you'd add.

Again, those are all great idea's, I also have to say I love Typhoon's bikini-clad machine gun totting roller blading squads.
The LAPD uses Bell Jet Ranger's as their helicopters, I'll have to look into what the other major cities of California use. Lets also look into the helicopters which the California National Guard uses.
Here's a site for the LAPD Aviation unit.

Great bit of research there! I think maybe the Western Canadians could possibly arm their provincial fleets of aircraft (except B.C., which sold its), though they'd by nature strictly be bomb-dropping, ground support rig-ups. As well, armed vehicles like California and Quebec would have wouldn't be beyond the West, either. The Cuban/Hispanics should have a cheap and fast, but fragile, sea transport unit to carry units and supplies across the water to Florida. As well, the island of Cuba itself should have lots of AA batteries (as I think it actually currently does).
BTW, please don't forget about those flags. Thanks!

I like your idea's very much, I wish I could have contributed more units by now but I've been really busy this week.
I do think we need to clear up the question of what the story will be behind the Cuban and florida hispanic revolt though, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I like your new idea for the Hispanic revolt. Sorry for the delay, I've been busy as hell trying to prepare for some job interviews I have shortly.
I'll check in with Steph to see if there's any chance he can get that map finished for us, he's very busy though. He's come out with four scenario's this year alone and he's working on at least three more.

Oh I will. There is a shortage of good modern day scenario's out there, and I think this has the potential to become a great one.
Hopefully I will find a job shortly. Right now I'm spending more time on interviews and hunting than I would be just working if I had a job. That way once I'm working I'll have more time to commit to this great project. If anyone else out there has any suggestions for wonders please let us know.

I am still here too my Albertan friend. Unfortunatly my life has gotten a little bit bussier in the last couple weeks and I don't think I'll have time to work on the scenario we proposed. Its to bad because I think we had a real hit on our hands.
I barely have time to finish my world collection of flags and shields that I was going to post. Anyways, if you need any more flags in the future don't hesitate to ask, I'm always glad to help a fellow cannuck in need.
Also, if you want to work on the proposed scenario yourself I'd be glad to help anyway I can.

Well, we'll see what happens. Right now I'm kicking around an idea with FiGu about a new Gigamap Vietnam scenario, as well as trying to figure out when "Blue and the Grey" will be finished.
As for the city graphics, here they are. I've never been sure as to who the creator or creators are, I believe this may be a Curt Sibbling original but I'm not sure.
Anyways, I also love the idea we had, and I'd like to make some matching suburb graphics for these cities. It would be nice for me to actually finish a scenario that I start for once.

Here are the units, the infantry are simply modified Malaysian infantry by Steph (Jim Panse). The CF-18 is a Fairline design and transport aircraft is FiGu's I believe.
The H2's however are 100% Sarsstock. All the shields featured are also originals of mine. Let me know if you have any thoughs for Western Aboriginal infantry, I think we could some up with something cool for them.
