Well I guess this is the first time this specific situation has arisen, but the spirit of the rules is clearly for the allied attack to lead to base sharing, even if one person (not by his own fault) cannot join the attack.

The rule doesn't say anything about spying options. Thus, I think the bases get shared. Of course this could be addressed in future rules, but since they also have to go with the same oob even with half the ships missing, the other stuff should stay the same too.

I'd support a rule saying that whoever actually did the capturing would get the base. As it is, that would be me... and I'll generously let Spike have 4 bases.

Incidentally, how many bloodless conquests does that make? 3?
