GeneralTacticus and Overlord Spikie attacked GeoModder in an all-out assault. The wily GeoModder had expected such an occurance though, and had raised a shield accordingly. GeneralTactus' fleet symmetry was finally lost. GeoModder took the opportunity to add some new bases to his collection.

Not that I've played but I have followed the game somewhat, and I think that whoever had the forces in the vicinity should decide who gets the bases. As it is, GT could have the choice of keeping all the bases and risk ruining his alliance (and any future cooperative measures with Doc) or give one, some, or all away for whatever reason he deems reasonable to himself.
I'm certain that if GT had his forces blown to bits DrSpike might look upon his 'ally' as 'fresh meat' instead...

Geo is vastly outnumbered. He can't sit behind his shield forever either. Only a miracle of diplomacy (the alliance members are pretty equal as far as bases and units go) or a lucky combination of tactics can save him. [/stating the obvious]

... and he also wonders why he's died twice this game. Ljube, you've got a great winning mind, but trust sure does mean a lot in games like this.

Btw, I would have turned over all my bases to Geo had I realised we could transfer bases at will. I knew I was going to be attacked, that I would lose, and also that I had no shield I'm not sure we should be able to give them at will frankly. There should be a cost to exchange at least.
