True or False - Democrats Care About Troops?? Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Say you are the President, and you want to invade a country because their dictator just nuked America or something evil like that.

He had 200 000 troops and your advisors were all like, we need at least 2 million to take it. We'll have about 300 000 casualties.

If each troop costs $100/5 months, then you must pay $200 000 000 over a five month period to do this. But you don't have any money. You have $0.

Naturally, you can't go to war, according to liberals, otherwise we're talking debt. So no war.

BUT

What if we have the money. Then, liberals would want war. So -

Conclusion: Liberals reduce troops to dollar signs when they try to criticize George Bush. This, of course, is intolerable, and an outrage.

Can ANYONE answer to this? I asked my former social studies prof and he told me I was "ahead of my time." He said he'd get back to me but has not yet, so here I am.

Suffering from ads?

Wow, what an utterly pathetic troll. But its Wiglaf, so what is new?

I particularly love the magically low numbers, the stupid set up (dictator nuked us-which in the real world would equal a nuclear retaliation, and hardly anything left of the other country to take) and the utter disregard of the actual position of the other side.

Oh, so being "ahead of my my time" has become the new "special"

Listen to me. Bush went to war and went into debt. Clearly he did not give any craps about the almighty dollar. John Kerry seems only to complain when we lose money. Not troops.

Focus on the analysis, not me. The numbers do not lie, they never do. (~Ryan Sandburg IIRC)

Listen to me: Bush CUT TAXES prior and WENT INTO DEFICIT SPENDING PRIOR TO GOING TO WAR. IN FACT, THE BULK OF THE DEFICIT CAN BE TRACED TO THE TAX CUTS AND INCREASED INTERNAL SPENDING. Now, get your head out of your ass and come back to reality.

Oh, and if Bush cares so deeply for the troops, explain his CUTS into veteran benefits, hazard pay, aide ot military families, etc. etc. etc.

The war cost more money than any of Bush's other policies. Face facts.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

This single, simple statement shows the depth of your ignorance, and pretty much the source of your "arguement"

Bush has asked congress for one 125 billion dollar procurement for the war, then 87 billion more, and even with war costs higher than expected, the most the US has spent in Iraq since before we invaded is about 350 billion.

The first Bush tax cut cost the state over 1 trillion.

Can you understand which number is bigger?

quote:

The old people!? They are not in battle! Who would you rather support, when push comes to shove? Or, take the John Kerry route. Both

"old people"? So first you showcase your ignorance one way, then you do it another way.

Sad.

The tax breaks STIMULATED THE ECONOMY! That means it really didn't set us back a trillion anything, much less a trillion dollars. The war in Iraq was really, truly, out of Bush's pocket.

JohnT, then change it into something less serious for all I care. The analysis still holds!

Gepap, Yes, old people tend to be veterans (or rather, reverse it). This make shock you, but it is true. I am not ignorant for stating the sky is blue, and then using that solid logic to reinforce my claim that the TROOPS need the cash NOT THE VETERANS!

Comrade Tassadar (wtf is in that name?)

It is his fault that he is poor. His bitterness should not have anything to do with his vote. Just because he is not successful, or does not have rich parents, or own Target DOES NOT MEAN that someone else doesn't.

Bush is simply motivating poor people to DISCOVER THEIR TALENTS. The way it was with Clinton, you were better off in a textile mill because they threw money at you like you were some kind of prostitute. At least now they give you NOTHING unless you become an elite. It's like Rome only in the United States.

Wiglaf is a Communist.

Yes, you can't hide it. I saw you exiting one of their secret meetings the other day, shaking hands, saying "Goodbye, Comrade." I'll bet you're spreading anti-American revolutionary propoganda. We won't take your Communism here, in God-fearing US of A! Go back to Russia!

The damn Communist has even hijacked the good Republican Elephant and twisted it into some sick pinko queer subversive material. He obviously is attempting to sabotage our troops as we speak.

Do not worry, fellow citizens. I have already done my part and forwarded his information to the FBI.

As a soldier serving in Iraq I have watched with interest the democrat's plan to pay soldiers an extended deployment bonus of $1000 per month for those soldiers seported from their families for more then one year. I also like the democrats' plan to pay $2000 per month to those persons who are involentarially stop losed. It is completely incompatable with having a volinteer force to then turn around and refuse to let people out when they have completed their contract. What has basicly happened to people like me is that we have been drafted and we are involintarially forced to remain in the service despite the fact that the period for which we have volinteered has expired.

Of course Bush vetoed both of these proposals and he has refused to increase end force strength to deal with excessive deployments. In short Bush has no anwsers to the military's biggest problems and the only thing he has done is institute a shadow draft.
