i didn't cut nor cancel any deals. my settings have "renew contracts after 20 turns" turned off, so it should continue on until explicitly cancelled. you maybe?

but maybe it's because you only gave me "one-time" stuff and i gave "per-turn" stuff.

So Sabre, it doesn't seem to matter what techs I discover, you're always way ahead of me......any hints as to just how far ahead you are? Are you nearing the Modern age by now?

one hint: ever since the middle medieval ages i've researched every tech in just 4 turns (and intend continuing this way all through the industrial age). i've been ignoring some optional techs (of which you mainly are building wonders).

but as you can see from my city sizes, i've got sanitation.
as you can see from hoover's, i've got electronics.
and in a few turns you'll be able to see another hint on what technology i'll have reached...

no transports being loaded and definatly no tanks being built (the last required tech in the industrial age).

and if you take a look at the power screen... it has stayed the same since the end of the liberation war. i know for a fact that i've only built 2 units since then... so i presume noone is building any units.


you're right about the 2 seperate games... and it's likely to stay so. without wanting to brag - but even with your joint forces, you won't be able to stop me. several cities have finished building all they can and are gathering wealth. they could switch to military units if my spies and scouts notice any danger originating from your continent.

so the question is: who's going to be 3rd (after sumeria and netherlands)?

This is the problem with playing AP. You really shouldn't be able to research at 4-turn pace through the Industrial ages. Using AP, once you get a lead it is almost impossible to lose.
