Nice one Tamerlin. I thought it best to wait anyway, since we've come this far with the same line-up.
I should get my turn done later tonight.

1780 AD Stole Internal Combustion from Phoenicians, which allows us to build Early Tank and Self-Propelled Artillery.
1782 AD Lost 3 units from Phoenicians bombarding Edmonton.
1784 AD Lost another 3.
1786 AD ... and another 2. Also repelled a 6 stack of Modern Infantry(?) from Ulundi.
1788 AD Lost one more, then Phoenicians attack with 4 Early Tanks and 2 Artillery against our 3 Infantrymen... we lose Edmonton.
Got bombarded and bombarded back for the last few turns, also managed to crank out one Artillery with enough labourers, but its only a matter of time.

Great game loved reading the posts. How would you rate this mod ? Have only downloded the files and im looking over how well the AI played in this game. Well it seems the game was packed with action no time to build up in peace.

I really like it, despite what our game showed theres a really good balance between development and war.
We made some mistakes in our game and we werent really used to the tree in the game, not knowing what units to research etc so we were always playing catch up without a plan, which didnt give us time later for development and which eventually killed us, and we were also completely surrounded. Not even a coastline to leave undefended, we had to defend every side.
Diplomacy was on and off but seems more effective than in Cradle. AI army stacking isnt as quick as Cradle's AI (dont think CtC includes frenzy AI?), but theres just as many units around.

Just one more question
One last point -how was the AI to AI dipolamcy? Downloded the mod and was looking over the files. It seems diplomacy is not based on Diplomod 3.5( which is in Cradle) or 3.6 ( which is in SP2). Diplomod was one of the first key changes to CtP2 as 1.11 version had no AI to AI diplomacy. Fixed in new play tests at last!
What Peter has seemed to do for Conquest is give the AI a mind set to go after the Civ that expands too fast
Which in most cases is the human player. Other words the regard of the Civs drops as your empire grows.
Find this kind of gameplay in EU2 -Hearts of Iron or Civ3. Do have this right ? Might try 3.5 in Conquest but might make the AI too easy to beat . Well im finished posting here and again I enjoyed the battle the AI gave you did you see a unit that looked like the kitchen sink?

Me too E. Going to look up old threads to Conquest and see what Peter did to change AI diplomacy. Make a post to address this mod. Maybe if Peter has time from coding he could tell us how his diplomacy differs from other mods. This game shows that the AI will not keep long term treaties or be fooled by gifts .Peter did say that AI looks to see who has the most units and will rethink its diplomacy .
